GOP GOP Whining Joe Biden Taxation The Biden Administration

Chris Christie Claims Biden’s Tax Increases Are ‘Socialism’ And Gets Slapped Down By Angela Rye

You can tell that former New Jersey GOP Gov. Chris Christie is planning to run for president in 2020 because he’s already using the “socialism” scare word when discussing President Joe Biden’s planned capital gains tax cut to fund infrastructure programs.

But while Christie was spouting talking points, he quickly got his head handed to him by Democratic strategist Angela Rye, who told him and Republican operative Sarah Fagan:

“I think it’s so rich to hear folks talking about Joe Biden’s far-left agenda. If it is too far left to sign 60 executive orders overturning the hatred that was in Donald Trump’s executive orders — at least 23 of them — if it is far left to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord, if it’s far left to end the Muslim travel ban, if it is far left to restore the partnership with the World Health Organization then I think most of the country is far left.”

That led Christie to claim that Biden’s proposals aren’t popular with the American people. What he neglected to mention is that a recent poll showed 59% of those surveyed said they support the Biden infrastructure program:

“Look, we can set up strawmen and say he overturned this executive order but that’s not what we’re talking about. The capital gains issue is nothing more than income redistribution. It’s socialism.”

Rye could be heard laughing as Christie spoke, and she was more than ready for him, slapping him down with this retort:

“It’s so interesting to hear this allegation of socialism,” she said. “I know these are buzzwords that work very well with the Republican Party so congratulations for using them this morning.

“But we have people in a pandemic that you said wouldn’t matter by the time you get to the fall, and on the left there’s a conversation happening about student loan debt. How much should be forgiven? $50,000 vs. $10,000. And we’re talking about a capital gains increase when you all just had basically the reparations we’ve been asking for [in] your last tax proposal. So I don’t even understand what we’re talking about here.”

One other thing on capital gains taxes: The vast majority of Americans never have to pay them. The wealthiest taxpayers do. And taxing them won’t do any long-term damage to the economy, despite what conservatives try to claim.

Nice try, Chris, but Angela Rye made sure your lie was exposed and countered with facts.

GOP Whining Media in America

Kellyanne Conway FREAKS OUT When ‘Today’ Hosts Ask About Trump’s Tweets (VIDEO)

Donald Trump loves Twitter. He says he uses it because it allows him to get his message directly to the American people:

“I can do messages around the media and get my word out, the way I mean my word. I don’t have to have the media distort my message, because they go out of their way to distort my message.”

But it would appear that the president needs to update his senior staff on that fact, because Monday morning on the Today show, White House adviser Kellyanne Conway got more than a bit rankled when the two co-hosts dared to ask about a tweet Trump had sent out regarding the travel ban executive order. Conway criticized the media for:

“This obsession with covering everything he says on Twitter and very little of what he does as president.”

You mean like how he plays more golf than a member of the PGA tour and lies about everything?

Host Craig Melvin replied to Conway by reminding her:

“That’s his preferred method of communication with the American people.”

The churlish Conway, who must have forgotten to have her morning coffee, snapped:

“That’s not true!”

“Well he hasn’t given an interview in three weeks. So lately that is his preferred method.”

Later in the interview, when Savannah Guthrie asked if Conway thought the president should apologize to London mayor Sadiq Khan for misquoting him, Conway again copped an attitude:

“You want to make this about something other than what’s its about. I’m not going to allow, the day and a half after terrorist did it again, whether ISIS inspired or ISIS directed. They’re savage murders. It’s an evil slaughter as the president said last night. I’m going to not let him be seen as the perpetrator here.”

No one said he was the perpetrator of the attack, Kellyanne. But going after the mayor of London just a day after his city was subjected to a terrorist attack is not exactly very presidential, let alone considerate. Then again, this is a man who loves to bully others and try to get his way on everything. He’s a spoiled brat with nuclear weapons, and that scares the shit out of most of the world.

Delusional Lewandowski Says Obama Bugged Sessions’ Office, Too! (VIDEO)

Apparently the strategy being employed by Donald Trump and his brainless minions regarding his vapid assertion that President Obama bugged Trump Tower goes something like this: When in doubt or a deep hole, dig some more.

Former Trump campaign manager and full-time asshole Corey Lewandowski went on the Fox News Show Justice with Judge Jeanine and decided not only would he double down on Trump’s fevered delusions, he’d even add a new charge to the steaming pile of feces already in existence, telling host Jeanine Pirro:

“They did spend time listening to conversations between then-Senator Jeff Sessions and the ambassador to Russia while he was in his Senate office. If that were to take place — which supposedly did take place — what other conversations did they listen in on from the American public?”

Any proof of this wild theory, Corey? None needed, of course, because he’s a Republican, and they love making stuff up with no supporting facts. It’s practically their calling card.

Then Lewandowski added this turd tidbit to the mix:

“Is it possible that that previous administration was listening to the conversations that took place in Trump Tower from their political opponents? If that is the case, and what Donald Trump alludes to is accurate, then that’s very, very disturbing for our future going forward.”

Is it as disturbing as the very real possibility that Trump sold his soul to Vladimir Putin for millions of dollars in operating capital and a promise to not release whatever embarrassing information he has on the illegitimate American president?

Trump and his coterie of paid criminals know they’re on the verge of being exposed for the treasonous slugs they are. So they’re attempting to use conspiracy theories to hide their own actions. But the truth will come out in time, and when it does, all of these weasels are headed to prison.

Kellyanne Conway: If You Criticize Trump, Expect To Face ‘Consequences’ (VIDEO)

Republicans love to talk about having “respect for the Constitution,” but what they really mean is they respect certain parts of the document which governs the country and ignore anything they disagree with. They love the Second Amendment and think everyone should tote a semiautomatic weapon around, but should you choose to disagree with one of these conservative loons, they want to try and punish you, acting as if freedom of speech is no longer applicable.

There can be no more perfect example of this than Donald Trump and the nitwits who so slavishly support and defend him no matter what he does. Kellyanne Conway proved that during her appearance on the MSNBC show Hardball, telling host Chris Matthews:

“People feel like with Donald Trump, they have license to say whatever the heck they want about this guy, with no consequences, with no blowback. The guy has a right to defend himself. And he rarely draws first blood. It’s when he is attacked, he likes to set the record straight.”

Last time I checked, Trump is a public figure, and we can indeed say whatever the heck we want to about him. If we were feeling especially evil and infantile, we could even suggest he wasn’t actually born in the United States and demand he show us his birth certificate, because he might have been born in Kenya and secretly be a Muslim.

When Matthews asked Conway about former Clinton campaign communications director Jen Palmeri’s remarks regarding the Trump campaign and transition team, Conway responded:

“Anytime I try to respond, I’m seen as ungracious. Why are we sore winners? I’m not a sore winner, I’m a winner. My guy’s a winner. He’s the next president of the United States. This has to stop, Chris, this incendiary rhetoric of people who just can’t admit that they lost. It has to stop, because it’s costing a lot of angst.”

It’s not going to stop, Kellyanne; not now and not ever. Know why? Because Trump is an illegitimate president who lost by nearly 3 million votes and had Russia helping him trash his opponent. And if you want to see some “consequences,” I have one word for you: Impeachment.

Discrimination Domestic Terrorism WTF?!

Gingrich: Joe McCarthy Was Right; We Need A New House Un-American Activities Committee

As we all suspected, the real goal of Donald Trump and his closest cronies is to return this country to the 1950s, when African-Americans and other minorities were subservient, women did as they were told, and white male Christians ran everything.

Back in June, on Fox and Friends, Newt Gingrich, whose name is being mentioned as a possible Secretary of State in the new Trump Administration, said the United States needs to bring back a remnant of the bad old days when Senator Joseph McCarthy conducted his infamous “red hunt” to identify alleged communists in America. Gingrich said:

“We originally created the House Un-American Activities Committee to go after Nazis. We passed several laws in 1938 and 1939 to go after Nazis and we made it illegal to help the Nazis. We’re going to presently have to go take the similar steps here.”

The reason for Gingrich wishing to resurrect one of the darkest days in American history: Islamic terrorism:

“We’re going to ultimately declare a war on Islamic supremacists and we’re going to say, if you pledge allegiance to ISIS, you are a traitor and you have lost your citizenship. We’re going to take much tougher positions.”

And Gingrich’s comments are perfectly in line with those of President-elect Trump, who said shortly after the attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando:

“They know what is going on. They know that (the Orlando killer) was bad. They knew the people in San Bernardino were bad. But you know what, they didn’t turn them in, and we had death and destruction.”

Some on the extreme right knew about the planned actions of nutjobs like Timothy McVeigh and should have been prosecuted and placed in prison, but only a few actually faced justice. Yet these are some of the same alt-right lunatics who have been so vocal in their support of Trump.

If Donald Trump wants to put this kind of talk to rest, he needs to immediately make a speech in which he clearly states that acts of domestic terrorism like we have seen across the country since his election are wrong and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law as hate crimes. Unless he does, then he, like Gingrich, is partially responsible for violence against innocent, peaceful Americans.

We’re waiting for that speech, Mr. Trump. When will it be?
