Outgoing Joint Chiefs Chairman Throws Shade At Trump During Retirement Ceremony

Gen. Mark Milley, the outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, threw some shade at failed one-term, twice-impeached, and four-time indicted ex-president Donald Trump during a speech at his retirement ceremony today.

Milley — who Trump recently suggested deserved the death penalty for daring to disagree with him — told those gathered for his retirement from the highest military position in the government that every member of the military takes a solemn oath to the Constitution, not to a person or even a president.

“We don’t take an oath to a king or a queen, or to a tyrant or a dictator — and we don’t take an oath to a wannabe dictator,” Milley said, clearly referring to Trump’s attempt to remain in power despite having lost the 2020 election to President Joe Biden. “We don’t take our oath to an individual. We take an oath to the Constitution, and we take an oath to the idea that is America, and we’re willing to die to protect it.”

Milley revealed earlier this week that after Trump made his death threat, he was forced to get additional security for his family, telling Norah O’Donnell of CBS News, “I wish those comments had not been made, but they were. We will take appropriate measures to ensure my safety and the safety of my family.”

Gen. Milley is a American hero and a patriot who deserves this nation’s respect and thanks.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a coward, a traitor, and deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Trump Says Retiring Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley Deserves ‘DEATH!’ For Disagreeing With Him

Proving for the millionth time that he’s completely unfit for office and deserving of a long prison term, failed one-term, twice-impeached, and four-times indicted former president Donald Trump angrily lashed out at Gen. Mark Milley, who is retiring as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff next week.

Clearly triggered by a report from the Atlantic that revealed Milley and other top U.S. military officials had to try and restrain Trump from making monumental mistakes in both domestic and foreign policy, the disgraced ex-president suggested on his Truth Social site that Milley was deserving of death for daring to disagree with him.

“Mark Milley, who led perhaps the most embarrassing moment in American history with his grossly incompetent implementation of the withdrawal from Afghanistan, costing many lives, leaving behind hundreds of American citizens, and handing over BILLIONS of dollars of the finest military equipment ever made, will be leaving the military next week. This will be a time for all citizens of the USA to celebrate!”

He then added:

“This guy turned out to be a Woke train wreck who, if the Fake News reporting is correct, was actually dealing with China to give them a heads up on the thinking of the President of the United States. This is an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH! A war between China and the United States could have been the result of this treasonous act. To be continued!!!”

If Trump happens to win the 2024 election, expect him to turn this country into a police state reminiscent of Nazi Germany. He has no respect for any of the institutions that keep this nation safe, secure, and free.

Donald Trump belongs in prison for the rest of his life. It’s really that simple.

Tom Cotton Gets Taken To School When He Asks Joint Chiefs Chairman Why He Hasn’t Resigned

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) got a lesson in military discipline and patriotism when he attempted to suggest that Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, should have have resigned when President Joe Biden decided to withdraw American forces from Afghanistan despite military leaders suggesting some U.S. troops should remain.

Cotton, who served in the Army, specifically asked Milley why he didn’t resign in protest when his recommendations weren’t followed. To that, the general replied:

“Senator, as a senior military officer, resigning is a really serious thing. It’s a political act if I’m resigning in protest. My job is to provide legal advice or the best military advice to the president. That’s my legal requirement. That’s what the law is. The president doesn’t have to agree with that advice. He doesn’t have to make those decisions just because we’re generals.”

Milley added that resigning just because a president doesn’t take his advice, “Would be an incredible act of political defiance for a commissioned officer to just resign.”

“This country doesn’t want generals figuring out what orders we’re going to accept and do or not. That’s not our job. It’s critical. My dad didn’t get a choice to resign at Iwo Jima. They can’t resign, so I’m not going to resign. There’s no way. If the orders are legal, we’re in a different place. If the orders are legal from civilian authority, I intend to carry them out.”

The fact that Cotton would ask such a question proves his only goal was to try and trash Biden as commander-in-chief and score political points instead of giving a damn about what’s in the long-term best interests of the United States.

If Sen. Cotton is unhappy with American foreign policy under this administration, then he should toss his hat into the 2024 presidential race and see if voters like his ideas. Otherwise, he should sit quietly and be thankful we have a president who gives a damn about our troops.

Domestic Terrorism Military WTF?!

Giuliani Says He’s Afraid The Military Will ‘Bomb White Supremacists’ In Order To Start A War

Proving yet again that he doesn’t actually possess a brain, former New York City mayor and erstwhile personal attorney to failed, one-term former President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, is now suggesting that a new book has him fearful that the U.S. military may attack white supremacists for the purpose of starting a war.

The book in question — Peril, written by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa — reports that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley took control of the U.S. nuclear arsenal out of Trump’s hands and that he assured officials in China he would not allow Trump to launch nuclear weapons at them during his final days in office.

That led Giuliani to tell Steve Bannon on Real America’s Voice:

“The generals tried to take over along with Pelosi. It’s totally absurd. There’s no evidence, not even a scintilla of anything that President Trump was going to do anything with the military.”

It’s totally absurd? Not when it comes to a man as mentally unstable as Donald Trump, who incited a crowd to storm the Capitol and attack police officers who were guarding the building. A man that deranged is capable of anything.

Rudy then called for Milley to be dismissed:

“That’s completely made up — either made up or part of the warp of lies the Democrats have been using for five years now, or these people are insanely hysterical. But I mean Milley has got to go.”

Why does Milley have to go? That’s when Giuliani sounded like he’d been day drinking again:

“The man is some kind of hysteric. He may get us into a war probably against white supremacy. He’ll probably go bomb white supremacists. I mean, there’s a screw loose with this guy.”

Oh, and Rudy also wanted us all to know that Trump had every right to start a war with China for whatever reason he chose:

“Treason has to take place at a time of war. If the president were to attack China, it would be a war, and [Milley] said he’s going to help our enemy.

“Here he is telling China, ‘If the president of the United States takes action against you, I’m going to side with you against the United States of America.’ [Trump] is not talking about any retaliation against [China] and even if he was, this guy has no right to do that.”

So a military commander is supposed to follow any order he’s given by a president, even if it’s an unlawful one? That’s complete nonsense.

Gen. Milley is an American hero and deserves our thanks for holding Trump in check during the last days of the administration.
