Hillary Clinton Just Won An Emmy Award – So Of Course Conservatives Are Pitching A Fit

Already one of the most accomplished women in the world, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton just added a major accomplishment to hear already impressive resume: An Emmy award.

Mrs. Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea, were given an Emmy for Outstanding Politics and Government Documentary, according to HuffPost.

The two executive-produced the Netflix documentary “In Her Hands” with several others, making them “statue-eligible,” an official told The Hollywood Reporter.

The film follows Zarifa Ghafari, who at age 26 became the youngest female mayor in the history of Afghanistan. She served in the turbulent times before the Taliban recaptured the country.

“As Western forces withdraw, Afghanistan’s youngest female mayor braves mortal danger to lead a fight for education for the next generation of Afghans,” the Netflix summary reads.

Chelsea Clinton had this to say about the honor:

“So proud to be part of the ‘In Her Hands’ team, and to tell the remarkable story of Zarifa Ghafari, the youngest female mayor in the history of Afghanistan.”

Mrs. Clinton also took to Twitter to say how pleased she was by the Emmy.

The former first lady already had a Grammy to her credit, and now she adds an Emmy. Could a Tony and Oscar also be in her future?

Again, it’s a wonderful honor for the Clintons, but it drew the predictable anger and bitterness from conservatives and right-wing nutjobs on social media.

Conservatives Pitch A Hysterical Fit After Karine Jean-Pierre Is Featured In Vogue Magazine

It’s truly incredible to see what angers and vexes conservatives.

For example, almost every conservative gets upset if you make a joke about former president Donald Trump, whom many of them regard as second only to Ronald Reagan when it comes to being a champion for the right wing political movement.

That slavish devotion to Trump extends to members of his family, including his wife, Melania, who is often compared to former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, even though Mrs. Kennedy never worked as a nude model or supported her lavish lifestyle by allegedly serving as an “escort” (i.e. call girl) before she married her husband.

Melania, it should be noted, was never invited to grace the cover of Vogue magazine. Michelle Obama did. So has Dr. Jill Biden. And the so-called “snubbing” of Mrs. Trump absolutely enraged the MAGA faithful.

Having laid down that predicate background, the latest soul-rending anger from conservatives comes after White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was featured in Vogue, with the magazine reporting:

That quality of directness—blunt, with a touch of compassion—is Jean-Pierre’s currency at the briefing podium. She meets the White House press corps almost daily—favoring bright colors and bold eye shadow when she does—and, while she’s more reserved than some of her predecessors and less likely to respond to provocation with a social media–ready retort, she has sharpened her own technique: disarm with a smile, then lay out the facts at hand.

Still, there was no actual interview process in the lead-up to her promotion. News had already leaked that Psaki would leave for an anchor position at MSNBC, prompting speculation about a successor; Jean-Pierre was the obvious front-runner, and after a month, Biden called her into the Oval Office.

“It happened fast,” Jean-Pierre says. “The president and I had 20 seconds together.” 

“I remember she described her feeling as shell-shocked,” Psaki says. “It’s a little bit of an out-of-body experience when the president of the United States asks you to do something.”

“You’re kind of like, ‘Were there supposed to be fireworks happening? Mood music?’ ” Jean-Pierre says now. “There was none of that.” The press release came out a few minutes later.

Jean-Pierre, the daughter of Haitian immigrants who was raised in Paris and New York, is the prototypical American success story. What she’s accomplished should be celebrated as proof that the American dream does indeed still exist.

Unless, of course, your mind and heart are filled with envy, hate, bigotry, and bile. In other words, unless you’re a conservative, in which case you lash out and attack a person for their sexual orientation and the color of their skin, which is exactly what’s taking place on social media.

Conservative Commentator Has The Perfect New Name For CPAC – And It’s Quickly Going Viral

On Saturday in Maryland, failed one-term, twice-impeached ex-president Donald Trump will address the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) as part of his bid to be the 2024 Republican nominee for president.

According to Trump campaign insiders, the reason the disgraced former president is speaking to CPAC attendees is simple: Because the GOP still belongs to him:

“CPAC is the embodiment of the conservative movement as well as the Republican Party. … The conference has always represented the ‘springboard’ for the presidential primary season, and President Trump’s outsized influence at this year’s conference combined with recent polling success shows just how dominant his candidacy is as we approach 2024,” said Trump senior adviser Jason Miller.

Translation: It’s an opportunity for Donald to bask in the adoration of the brain dead MAGA faithful and make himself the center of attention.

But conservative political analyst S.E. Cupp says she thinks CPAC needs to change its name.

According to Cupp, a more accurate name for CPAC would be “The Donald Trump Family Variety Hour.”

Cupp also noted that she expects CPAC will go off with “hardly a bang, more of a whimper.” Trump, she added, has turned the conference into a “joke” and is merely “a vehicle for Trump and Trumpism and is no longer … a stop on way to becoming president.”

The video of Cupp’s comments has garnered nearly 60,000 views in less than 24 hours and briefly trended on Twitter, where others joined the discussion and celebrated Cupp’s new name for the conference.

One thing is certain when it comes to the speech Trump gives this weekend at CPAC: It will be filled with bullshit, hot air, and endless lies.

Conservatives Lose Their Angry Minds After Jill Biden Places ‘Valentine To The Country’ On White House Lawn

It doesn’t get said often enough, but one of the best things about having Donald Trump out of the White House is that his wife, Melania Trump, had to leave with him.

Sure, Melania said she wanted to make cyber bullying the issue (remember #Be Best? What a joke that was!) that she focused on as first lady, but she never once addressed the bullying her husband did each and every day on social media when he wasn’t busy trying to stage a coup and overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Now we have First Lady Jill Biden, and what a refreshing change she’s brought, making sure to reach out to all Americans.

For example, with today being Valentine’s Day, Ms. Biden decided to put valentines to the country on the White House lawn, The Hill reports.

Early on Tuesday morning, a massive “Valentine to the country” was installed on the North Lawn of the White House.

Alongside illustrated versions of the Bidens’ furry family members, German Shepherd Commander and cat Willow, was a message: “Reach out with open hearts and helping hands this Valentine’s Day.”

The blue- and red-colored handprints featured on the lovey-dovey display come from students enrolled at a child development center at the Fort Drum Army Base in New York. Biden visited the base last month as part of her Joining Forces initiative.

But to see the reaction of conservatives, MAGA morons, and other assorted right-wing trash, you’d have thought Ms. Biden had sent out messages of hate and loathing to the nation. In other words, it was the same shit you see each and every day from people who have no hearts, no souls, no brains, and certainly no class.

Lauren Boebert’s Attempt To Rally Conservatives Comes Back To Bite Her Right On The A*s

Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert desperately wants to be thought of as an important member of the Republican Party, but she repeatedly proves to be nothing more than a laughingstock.

Such is the case with Boebert’s call for conservatives to be more aggressive

On Monday, Boebert tweeted out, “Conservatives, we need to be on OFFENSE not DEFENSE.”

But that tweet left Boebert wide open to an obvious counterattack which she really should have seen coming, providing she actually knows more about the English language and sentence structure than a 5-year-old, which has been the subject of great debate since she first appeared on the political scene. After all, this is the same woman who has also said the following:

“When 9/11 happened, we didn’t ban planes, we secured the cockpits.”

Being on “offense” is something Bobo excels at, as she’s among the most offensive people on the planet, which Twitter users were only too happy to remind her.
