GOP Hoping To Turn Kyle Rittenhouse Into A ‘Political Powerhouse’ For The 2024 Election

Earlier this week, Kyle Rittenhouse began a media blitz to promote his new book, Acquitted, and based on some of the statements he’s making along the way, in addition to how conservatives are once again embracing him, it appears the GOP has big plans for Rittenhouse’s political future.

Democratic strategist Max Burns notes in a piece he wrote for MSNBC that Republicans love the book, but they love the idea of launching Rittenhouse as a rising political star even more.

Rittenhouse’s new memoir isn’t a desperate attempt to remain relevant. It’s more like the opening charge of a well-funded public relations campaign designed to build Rittenhouse’s personal brand into a political powerhouse.

Former GOP congressman Joe Walsh agrees with Burns, remarking that Rittenhouse “has been on a quest to stay as relevant as he can, and there’s no doubt he appeals to a big part of the Republican base.”

“From day one, he’s been totally used by people on the right to raise money and get constituencies fired up. He’s making money putting his face out there for MAGA causes.”

It’s clear that Rittenhouse welcomes such overtures, as he entered the political fray by endorsing several right-wing GOP candidates, all of whom failed to get elected.

He has also been raising money by using his name and acquittal on murder charges to fight a civil lawsuit filed against him by the family of one of the men he gunned down in Kensoha, Wisconsin in 2020.

One of Rittenhouse’s many fundraising appeals garnered more $200,000 from sympathetic backers. In politics, the ability to raise that kind of money doesn’t go unnoticed for long, and Republican strategists were soon urging Rittenhouse to think about his political future.

As for his own political ambitions, the 20-year-old Rittenhouse is too young to run for Congress, but his age wouldn’t keep him from seeking a state office, which some have suggested he should consider, especially in a deeply red state like Texas.

In other words, expect to see Rittenhouse a lot in 2024. He’ll be endorsing candidates, raising money, and trying to vault himself into some position of power from which he can continue to build a future that doesn’t involve him having to do any real work.

Former Federal Prosecutor: Donald Trump’s Recent Gaffes Prove He’s ‘Deranged’ And Has ‘Gone Nuts’

As 21 U.S. states try to decide if disgraced former president Donald Trump should be allowed on the 2024 ballot due to his actions in attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential race, one former prosecutor says he believes Trump should be disqualified for a more troubling reason: Because he says the ex-president is “deranged” and has “gone nuts.”

Writing in Washington Monthly, attorney James Zirin, a former federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York, says recent speeches by Trump and the way he confuses facts, along with his slurring when he speaks lead him to wonder, “Has Donald Trump gone nuts?”

“This is obviously a difficult question to raise about any person, let alone a candidate, who has demonstrated vicious, paranoid, and violent behavior,” Zirin admits, “Still, all the armchair gerontologists parsing every utterance from President Joe Biden, trying to distinguish his congenital stutter from his natural aging, should look at Trump, whose behavior has gone from bad to weird to bizarre.”

Suggesting that Trump may be suffering from dementia, Zirin notes, “While neither Trump nor Biden projects John F. Kennedy’s vigor, Trump, 77, has been even more bizarre of late — doddering and disoriented in a new way.”

Referencing a particularly strange speech Trump recently gave, Zirin writes:

“Referring to Kim Jong-Un, the hereditary dictator who rules North Korea, Trump said he was in charge of a country of 1.4 billion people, obviously confusing the Hermit Kingdom of 26 million with the Middle Kingdom of 1.4 billion. But it’s not just misidentification. It’s the cadence and slurring of speech, too.

“Trump is having trouble with names. ‘On purpose’ came out as ‘on perfect.’ Adherents of Karl Marx came out as ‘markers,’ not Marxists. He warned that Biden is drifting us into World War II.”

The former prosecutor concludes, “Deranged people, as we all have learned, can be dangerous,” before warning, “Trump’s policy pronouncements have become more incendiary and more insane, if that were possible.”

Donald Trump is indeed dangerous. If you add in possible dementia, he clearly should never be in control of the nation’s nuclear arsenal again. He belongs behind bars or at permanently hospitalized for his own protection.

Jamie Raskin Has A Terrifying Prediction For What Will Happen If Trump Wins In 2024

If he happens to win a second term in office as a result of the 2024 presidential election, Donald Trump will quickly become authoritarian dictator who rules the way some of the most notorious strongmen in the world do, according to Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD).

Raskin made that prediction Sunday during and interview with MSNBC’s Jen Psaki, according to HuffPost.

Raskin began by saying a second Trump presidency would “look a lot like Vladimir Putin in Russia,” adding:

“It would look a lot like Viktor Orbán in Hungary ― ‘illiberal democracy,’ meaning democracy without rights or liberties or respect for the due process, the system, the rule of law.”
“In fact, there’s not much democracy left to it because their position is they don’t accept the integrity of any election where they lose. That is the hallmark of an authoritarian party.”

Raskin continued:

“They don’t accept elections that don’t go their ways. They refuse to disavow political violence. They embrace political violence as an instrument for obtaining power and then everything flows from the will of a charismatic politician, and that is Donald Trump in their book.”

As a final warning, Raskin told Psaki:

“We are clearly headed into a completely different form of government than any of us would recognize as continuous with the past. Right-wing authoritarian government in league with [Russia’s] Putin, [China’s] Xi, [Hungary’s] Orbán, [Brazil’s] Bolsonaro, you name it.”

The 2024 election may well be the most important in history. We cannot afford to let Trump back in office. If he does happen to win, the United States will devolve into tyranny, chaos, and fascism.

Congress Elections Fox News Impeachment Joe Biden

WATCH: Maria Bartiromo Almost Begs Jim Jordan To Impeach Biden Before He Wins The 2024 Election

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo is so terrified that President Joe Biden will win the 2024 election that she’s begging House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) to speed up the process.

Jordan was a guest on “Sunday Morning Futures,” and was asked by the host:

“Tell us what your expectations are in terms of this investigation, and will it lead to an impeachment of Joe Biden?”

Jordan responded:

“I believe we will get the depositions and the interviews done in this calendar year and then make a decision early next year whether there are actual evidence warrants going to articles of impeachment and moving to that stage of the investigation.”

That’s when Bartiromo revealed her desperation:

“Well, the timing is important. We’ve got an election next year. President Trump is facing four indictments, and you’ve got this dereliction of duty.”

Jordan: “He said they come after him because he’s fighting for us. That is true. That’s what the swamp does. They’re going after President Trump because he kept his word, and he’s fighting for us.”

Trump kept his word? On what? The man is a pathological liar who belongs behind bars for the next 50 years.

While Republicans like to say they’re confident Trump can win in 2024, Bartiromo just made it clear they’re worried the multiply-indicted loser ex-president will only manage a victory with help if his opponent is impeached, something that happened to the Donald not once, but twice.

Here’s the video:

Trump Planning To Deploy Military Into Cities If He Wins In 2024 For ‘Revenge’ On Opponents

If he happens to wind a second term in office as a result of the 2024 election, failed former president Donald Trump and his allies are already considering the deployment of U.S. troops into American cities for the purpose of quelling any demonstrations and exacting “revenge” on his political opponents, according to a disturbing report from the Washington Post.

Much of the planning for a second term has been unofficially outsourced to a partnership of right-wing think tanks in Washington. Dubbed “Project 2025,” the group is developing a plan, to include draft executive orders, that would deploy the military domestically under the Insurrection Act, according to a person involved in those conversations and internal communications reviewed by The Washington Post. The law, last updated in 1871, authorizes the president to deploy the military for domestic law enforcement.

The military being used for domestic law enforcement. That’s a page directly out of Nazi Germany and China under Mao. It’s the very definition of a police state where any dissent is immediately crushed and demonstrators are either imprisoned or executed in direct violation of the U.S. Constitution.

Trump was urged by some of his supporters to invoke the Insurrection Act in 2020 to quell protests over the murder of George Floyd, who was killed by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of murder and manslaughter and sentenced to over 20 years in prison.

The failed ex-president also has plans for revenge on those who have dared to oppose him, according to the Post.

The discussions underway reflect Trump’s determination to harness the power of the presidency to exact revenge on those who have challenged or criticized him if he returns to the White House. The former president has frequently threatened to take punitive steps against his perceived enemies, arguing that doing so would be justified by the current prosecutions against him. Trump has claimed without evidence that the criminal charges he is facing — a total of 91 across four state and federal indictments — were made up to damage him politically.

Additionally, a second Trump term would feature devoted loyalists at every level of the federal government, true believers who would gladly carry out any order given to them by the president, no matter what the Constitution or Congress might have to say on the matter.

The overall vision that Trump, his campaign and outside allies are now discussing for a second term would differ from his first in terms of how quickly and forcefully officials would move to execute his orders. Alumni involved in the current planning generally fault a slow start, bureaucratic resistance and litigation for hindering the president’s agendain his first term, and they are determined to avoid those hurdles, if given a second chance, by concentrating more power in West Wing and selecting appointees who will carry out Trump’s demands.

It has been said before but needs to be repeated from now until the day of the 2024 election: A vote for a second Trump term is a vote to end the American republic and our version of democracy. It would result in a totalitarian state that harkens back to some of the darkest days in world history and regimes that carried out the systematic murder of hundreds of millions of innocent people.
