Karoline Leavitt is the national press secretary for the Trump 2024 campaign, but based on comments she made Tuesday, it might be wise for her to stay as far away from TV cameras as possible.
During an appearance on right-wing cable network Newsmax, Leavitt said President Joe Biden “can hardly speak.”
Seconds later, however, Leavitt mispronounced an incredibly simple word not once, but twice, according to HuffPost
“The transcript in the Hur report was incredibly damn-en-ing to Joe Biden.”
“It also was extremely damn-en-ing to him politically as it showed what the American people see with their own eyes every single day, and that is Joe Biden can hardly speak.”
While she was at it, Leavitt also called the attorney general “Merricka Garland.”

A new video making the rounds on social media has some suggesting that failed former president Donald Trump may have serious health issues that he’s attempting to hide from the voters.
OK Magazine reports that the video set off a wave of comments after it began circulating on Twitter.
“While at the LIV Golf Tournament in Miami, Fla., on Sunday, April 7, the ex-president, 77, was seen doing his signature move — but some people thought he was trying to create a distraction from his leg.”
With her political future now more uncertain than ever, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is once again resorting to the kind of behavior that got her negative headlines last September.
According to a report from CNN, Boebert had her mixed drinks cut off at a fundraiser for failed former president Donald Trump just three months later after she became unruly and completely humiliated herself.
“At the December soiree, which was the New York Young Republican Club’s annual gala, multiple witnesses saw a server tell Boebert they would not bring her any more alcohol, with one witness telling CNN the server told the congresswoman they believed she had been overserved. Throughout the night, Boebert also kept attempting to snap selfies with Trump, who was sitting at the same table as her. Eventually, Trump’s security detail stepped in and asked Boebert to stop, according to the witnesses, who attended the event and saw the interaction take place.”
Boebert changed congressional districts in January after it became clear her chances of reelection in her previous district had faded significantly as voters grew sick and tired of her antics, highlighted by her making out with a date during a Colorado theater production of “Beetlejuice.” The congresswoman was forced to leave the musical after she was caught vaping and fondling a man’s crotch in the full view of children who were also in attendance at the theater.
After the incident, Boebert attempted to excuse her actions by issuing a sarcastic statement on Twitter:
“It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!” Boebert Tweeted. Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!”
Boebert later apologized for her behavior, but tried to blame it on the stress of her divorce.
“There’s no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family. I’ve tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday. That’s unacceptable and I’m sorry.”
And now we have the boozy Boebert news, which is also unlikely to endear her to voters, CNN notes.
“But as Boebert desperately fights to keep her congressional career alive, the MAGA firebrand will need to dispel concerns about her controversial behavior – and accusations of carpetbagging – as she tries to convince voters in an entirely new district that she is best suited to represent a rural seat in eastern Colorado.”
One thing is absolutely certain: The House of Representatives would be a much saner and smarter place if Lauren Boebert doesn’t manage to win a another term in office.
While he repeatedly claims to be a defender of the Christian faith in the United States, failed one-term former president Donald Trump also fails to prove that he understands even of the most basic tenets of Christianity.
Remember when he was asked in 2015 to name his favorite Bible verse, Trump was unable to, saying there were “so many” and he couldn’t choose just one.
Just last week, Trump began hawking a “God Bless the USA Bible.” Did he do it out of the goodness of his heart? No. Instead, he made sure that he receives some of the profits from each $59.95 copy sold, a dead giveaway that he doesn’t understand what Jesus meant when he said you cannot serve God and mammon.
And now we have video proof that Donald doesn’t know the words to one of the most basic portions of the Christian prayer liturgy, the Lord’s Prayer, which most 5th graders can easily recite.
“Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.”
A video of Trump shot over the Easter weekend provides evidence that he has no clue what the words are in the Lord’s Prayer, and the clip soon went viral on social media. Take a look:

Trump’s MAGA supporters would likely tell you their hero was just having a bad day, or couldn’t hear the prayer and was therefore unable to follow along.
But it turns out this isn’t the first time Donnie has flubbed the prayer, as Ron Filipkowski noted on Twitter.

Watch his mouth. He know the words when they get to "the power and glory for ever and ever". Those are the only words that mean anything to him. And that is all he ever wants – the power and glory for ever and ever.
Failed one-term former president Donald Trump may fire his legal team to delay his upcoming trial in New York on charges of having paid hush money to a woman he had an affair with, according to former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance.
The hush money trial is scheduled to begin on April 15, and other criminal trials are also likely to begin later this year, right as the disgraced ex-president is in the middle of his 2024 bid for the White House.
Writing on Substack, Vance notes, “With trial only two weeks away, Trump is showing increasing signs of desperation,” she wrote. “There are also the time-honored strategies of the desperate: getting sick or finding a sick or dying family member and firing your lawyers.”
So what happens if Trump does indeed fire his attorneys? Vance explains:
“This can be a difficult one because defendants are entitled to counsel of their choosing, and lawyers are entitled to sufficient time to prepare. But Trump has a lot of lawyers on his team and the Judge has to be prepared for this one.
“Trump would have to argue a significant issue has developed with his lawyers before the Judge would agree to let them out of the case, and it’s going to be difficult to do that with all of them. The Judge could tell him to go ahead with the remaining lawyers, because if Trump does this at the eleventh hour, it’s going to look manufactured.
“But it’s still an issue the Judge has to be careful about to avoid problems on appeal, and so far, Judge Merchan has shown himself to be a careful, meticulous jurist.”
Given that Trump has already proven his fear of what might be revealed during a trial, it seems fair to speculate that he might indeed attempt a Hail Mary pass, if only to buy himself more time and shuffle the deck so he can regroup and try to push the matter further down the road.
What remains to be seen is if any judge will go along with such a request.
