Sarah Sanders Gets Slapped Down By AOC For Whining About Losing Twitter Followers Since The Capitol Riots

Those who support Donald Trump would have you believe that everywhere they turn, their free speech rights are being violated, even though their whining only serves to prove how little they know about the First Amendment or the U.S. Constitution.

For example, after Twitter booted the current president off their platform, his son, Donald Trump Jr., had the gall to post this:

However, as any modestly intelligent person knows, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms don’t have to offer you “free speech” if you violate their terms of service because they own the platform. No one has a right to put a political sign in your yard without your approval, either, because you own the house and the yard. If that wasn’t the case, all of our front yards would be festooned with all sorts of signs and messages we didn’t agree with or want.

Into this debate steps former White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, who took to social media to whine that something had happened to 50,000 of her Twitter followers:

Fortunately, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) set Sanders straight, and she did so in supreme fashion. Take a look:

That sums up today’s Trumpublicans perfectly: People are dead but it’s all about them and how they’re being mistreated by “big tech.”

If Sarah Sanders and those like her are so damn convinced that the social media giants are allied against them, then they should delete their accounts and refuse to support the people “oppressing” them.

On the other hand, they could just shut the hell up and stop acting like spoiled two-year-olds. But we certainly won’t hold our breath waiting on Trump’s disciples to behave maturely. That’d be like asking Donald Trump not to lie more often than he breathes.
