REPORT: Chief Of Staff Giving Omarosa The Boot For ‘Triggering’ Trump

One thing seems certain about new Chief of Staff John Kelly: When he wants someone gone from the White House, they don’t last for long. Such was the case with short-lived communications director Anthony Scaramucci, and, more recently with Steve Bannon and Sebastian Gorka, both of who have slinked back to right-wing trash site Breitbart.

And now Omarosa Manigault, one of the few African-American staffers, may be the next person Kelly kicks to the proverbial curb.

The Daily Beast reports that the former Apprentice contestant is being blocked from seeing the president on the direct orders of Kelly. The reason? Manigault is fond of sharing unvetted and dubiously sourced news articles with Trump in an attempt to influence him and the decisions he makes.

Sources in the White House say that Manigault is one of the worst when it comes to giving negative information to Trump:

“When Gen. Kelly is talking about clamping down on access to the Oval, she’s patient zero.”

Another source said the chief of staff is not the least bit pleased with Manigault being in the administration:

“[Kelly] is not thrilled by any means by [Manigault]. He is, however, thrilled that he has been able to stop staffers including Omarosa from bolting into the Oval Office and triggering the president with White House [palace] intrigue stories.”

Those stories are usually from “obscure, gossipy websites, and concerned White House palace intrigue, media personalities, or prominent Republicans in Congress.”

Does that mean Manigault’s days as a member of the White House staff could be drawing to a close? Kelly is said to be very unhappy with Manigault trying to influence the president, so it might be an ideal time for her to begin updating her résumé.
