On Thursday, Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett refused to overturn a vaccine mandate implemented at Indiana University to control the spread of COVID-19, and the MAGA faithful quickly lit into her on social media for failing to be a loyal acolyte and rule the way they wanted.
Barrett made her ruling without referring the case to the full Court, SCOTUS Blog noted:
Apparently, the enraged Trumpers were under the impression that Barrett would help them overturn vaccine mandates across the United States, even though it’s already established law that such requirements have been ruled legal in the past as they relate to public health.
