MAGA Civil War Erupts Online After Elon Musk Censors Posts From Trump Ally

When he purchased Twitter for $44 billion in 2022, Elon Musk claimed he had done so because he wanted a social media platform that didn’t censor people’s online posts, no matter how controversial they might be.

And yet that’s exactly what Musk is accused of doing after Trump ally Laura Loomer dared criticize the Twitter CEO. The back-and-forth between the two is causing a major rift in the so-called MAGA coalition.

Loomer lashed out at Musk after he called for the United States to import more engineers from overseas because the U.S. doesn’t produce enough of them to keep up with the increasing demand for such workers.

“The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low,” Musk asserted. “Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.”

That didn’t sit well with many Trump acolytes, including Loomer, who can best be described as a professional gadfly who appears to have no other job than sticking her nose up Donald’s ass while giving him a reach-around.

In response, Loomer wrote, “The elephant in the room is that Elon Musk, who is not MAGA and never has been, is a total f—— drag on the Trump transition. He’s a stage 5 clinger who over stayed his welcome at Mar-a-Lago to… be the point man for all his accomplices in big Tech to slither in.”

After Musk accused Loomer of trolling, she again hit back.

“Telling the truth isn’t trolling,” she asserted. “You bought your way into MAGA 5 minutes ago after Trump almost had his head blown off in Butler… we all know you only donated your money so you could influence immigration policy and protect your buddy Xi Jinping.”

Rather than debate Loomer further, Musk removed her blue check verification badge and allegedly stripped her of her paid subscribers, with Loomer fuming, “X removed my verification, my subs, and my ability to get premium again.”

Loomer also called Musk a hypocrite.

“How are we have an open debate when people who called out [American work visa program] H1B (including me) just had their verifications taken away by X? This is censorship… not open debate.”

Others in the Trump-MAGA coalition also criticized Musk.
