JUST IN: Trump Makes Volunteers Sign Pledge To Never Insult Him…For As Long As They Live!

It’s a given that to be a Donald Trump supporter, volunteer, or voter, you have to be more than a wee bit mentally deficient. If you doubt that, take a look at this compilation of highlights showcasing some of his supporters acting in some very bad ways:

Scary, huh? But here’s something that may be even scarier: Should a Trumpite want to volunteer as a worker at a Trump campaign phone bank, he or she must first sign a binding contract stating they will never insult the candidate for as long as they draw a breath upon this planet.

Earth to Planet Trump: Dude, we now have a major problem! You’re making volunteers (volunteers!) sign a loyalty oath? You should just be thankful someone wants to help get you elected.

Just last week, NBC confirmed that Trump was indeed making some campaign volunteers sign non-disclosure agreements before they could join the staff and start doing whatever scut work they are assigned. Specifically, NBC learned:

“In a Thursday email inviting supporters for phone-banking at Trump Tower, the campaign tells supporters to attend a briefing and then sign your NDA before volunteering begins.”

And then today, the website The Daily Dot got ahold of one of these sign your free speech rights away forever contracts, and in it volunteers must:

“Promise and agree not to demean or disparage publicly the Company, Mr. Trump, any Trump Company, any Family Member, or any Family Member Company or any asset any of the foregoing own, or product or service any of the foregoing offer, in each case by or in any of the Restricted Means and Contexts and to prevent your employees from doing so.”

Something about that paragraph suggests that a vial of blood and full cavity search is also required before a person can volunteer (volunteer!!) to help the man with the dead animal on his head get another point in the polls which he can then brag about at the next press conferece or debate.

The contract also states that volunteers are prohibited from volunteering for any presidential candidate other than Donald Trump. And since there’s no cut-off date, this means the contract is for the signer’s natural life.

Would such a thing hold up in court? One attorney contacted by The Daily Dot said no way, and added:

“I guess [Trump] doesn’t know about the First Amendment.”

Sure he does, but only when it applies to him or his rabid acolytes.
