HarperCollins Publishers recently released the book I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in the Trump White House, by Stephanie Grisham — who served as White House press secretary and chief-of-staff to Melania Trump — and some of the excerpts have caused incredible controversy:
At 1:25 p.m. on Jan. 6, soon after rioters had broken through barricades outside of the Capitol, MELANIA TRUMP received a text message from her then-chief of staff, STEPHANIE GRISHAM.
“Do you want to tweet that peaceful protests are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness and violence?” Grisham asked the first lady.
A minute later, Melania replied with a one-word answer: “No.” At that moment, she was at the White House preparing for a photo shoot of a rug she had selected
In response, Melania’s office fired off a statement which read in part:
But could Grisham’s book have been written at the urging of Ivanka Trump?
That’s the word from Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who was once Melania’s BFF and knows what the Trumps are like.
Wolkoff told CNN’s Anderson Cooper:
Really? Yes, and that led Wolkoff to note:
Considering who spawned the Trump children, it would be crazy to put anything past any of them. They all appear to share their father’s lack of a moral compass and a deep-seated need to trample on others on their way to the top.
Grisham, Wolkoff continued, is just doing what the Trump are known for doing to everyone: Tossing them under the bus:
Ivanka likely does have dreams of being a senator or even president one day. But she never will be. She’s too fake, too plastic, and too much like her father to appeal to a majority of voters.
There have been lots of rumors over the years that Ivanka and Melania are not fond of each other. After all, the Donald lusts after Ivanka and cheats on Melania with porn stars and Playboy models while she’s giving birth to his son. That tends to create a bit of tension inside of a family.
Could Ivanka have been the one the encouraged Grisham to trash Melania in print? Of course she could. There is absolutely nothing that’s beneath or beyond a Trump. They’re trash masquerading as royalty.
