The past couple of weeks have been very good indeed to presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. First there was her speech last week in which she painted the Donald as “temperamentally unfit” to ever be President. And then last night, Clinton won huge victories in the two biggest primaries left on the board, New York and California.
Today, Clinton is taking the attack on Trump to a new level: Cyberspace. The Clinton camp has unveiled a new website for all those Republicans who are sick and tired of Trump and his shenanigans. The website is called RepublicansAgainstTrump.org. And there’s even a pledge GOPers who despise Trump can take:
“Donald Trump is not qualified to be president. He does not represent my beliefs as a Republican and, more importantly, my values as an American. He does not speak for me and I will not vote for him.”
Sign the pledge and the Clinton campaign will send you a free sticker to show how you feel about the Orange Menace. No matter how you feel about Clinton, you have to admit this is a brilliant strategy that is meant to foment even more dislike of Trump and also create a new database of Republican voters who can be swayed to vote for the Democrat.
Can you imagine how enraged Trump must be right now as he sees this new website? He’s probably taking to Twitter as I write this, trying to come up with some stupid one-liner he thinks will help restore his sense of balance.
Trump is toast. If the same coalition that led to President Obama’s victories can be repurposed this November, Trump may well lose by the largest margin in American history. Seems like a fitting end to the political career of this incredibly hateful and hate-filled man.
