Gunmaker Offering ‘Crusader’ AR-15 Rifle Complete With Bible Verse On It

If you’re looking for the perfect Christmas gift for all the gun-wielding religious fanatics on your shopping list this Holiday season, you need look no further, because Spike Tactical of Florida has you covered.

Spike has created an AR-15 assault rifle with Bible verses etched onto it, and they say it’s meant to stop “Muslim terrorists” from using it.

The specific Bible verse quoted is Psalm 144:1:

“Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.”

Because nothing pleases God more than war, death, and destruction!

Ben “Mookie” Thomas, a former Navy Seal and spokesman for Spike Tactical, said he wanted to create a weapon no devout Muslim would dare touch:

“Off the cuff I said I’d like to have a gun that if a Muslim terrorist picked it up a bolt of lightning would hit and knock him dead.”

The AR-15 Crusader, which can be yours for only $1395, features three settings on the safety selector:

“Peace,” “War,” and “God Wills It.”

A spokesperson for the Florida chapter of the Council for Islamic Relations remarked:

“Sadly, this manufacturer’s fancy new gun won’t do anything to stop the real threat in America: the escalating problem of gun violence. This is just another shameful marketing ploy intended to profit from the promotion of hatred, division and violence.”

But just imagine vanquishing your enemies as you grip the warm steel of the Crusader in your hands and repeat the Bible verse to yourself. Feel the awesome power of the Almighty as you pop off round after round of deadly fire in the direction of the bad guys. No wonder Spike is offering such a totally amazing weapon!

I can think of a better Bible verse for this gun. One that the gun nuts would do well to memorize and repeat every day of their lives:

“And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” (Isaiah 2:4)
