GOP Fundraising Group Says It Won’t Give A Dime To ‘Carnival Barkers’ Boebert And Greene

One of the most powerful and influential groups that raises money for female Republicans is making it clear they want no part of the two most controversial members of the House GOP caucus and will not support them financially when they seek reelection to their seats in the 2022 midterm elections.

Business Insider reports that The Value In Electing Women Political Action Committee is proudly supporting every Republican woman currently serving in the House and Senate with the “intentional exception” of Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

VIEWPAC’s executive director Julie Conway explained her group’s thinking and why they are shunning Boebert and Greene:

“While we rightfully celebrate the number of GOP women serving in the House, I’ve always professed quality over quantity. The work of Congress is not a joke or reality show. Our women have fought too hard for too long to be respected and taken seriously as legislators, policy makers and thought leaders. We cannot let this work be erased by individuals who chose to be shameless self-promoters and carnival barkers.

“I think that they would rather draw attention to themselves, and really Marjorie Taylor Greene more than Boebert, but they’re cut from the same cloth.

“There is too much at stake and too many true public servants to allow the noise of the few to overshadow the work of the many.”

The move by VIEWPAC could lead to other groups refusing to raise money for Boebert and Greene. And that might well cause both to struggle for campaign funds as they enter what will likely be a bitter fight for another term in office.

Recently, both Boebert and Greene have managed to embarrass themselves and harm their chances of getting reelected.

During a congressional hearing in June, Boebert was humiliated by Acting White House Budget Director Shalanda Young when the congresswoman asked:

“How long will you be ceding the southern border to the cartels?”

Young replied:

“That’s not a question with an assumption I’m going to assume.”

Greene has been chastised by both Democrats and Republicans for insisting that House mask mandates are analogous to making Jews wear yellow Stars of David during the Holocaust in Nazi Germany.

If we’re lucky, both Boebert and Greene will be one-term losers just like the orange idiot they so ardently worship.
