Conservatives and right-wingers are absolutely furious that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dared to say this week that a “deprogramming of the cult members” who constitute a large portion of former president Donald Trump’s base is needed.
Specifically, Clinton remarked:
That led to a spirited discussion on Friday’s broadcast of Fox’s “The Five,” with co-host Jeanine “Box o’ Wine” Pirro asking if perhaps Clinton’s comments could be considered a “threat to democracy.”
Pirro’s inquiry led to a sharp response from co-host Jessica Tarlov, who began reminding Pirro of the many disgusting, offensive, and potentially dangerous things that have been said by Trump and his supporters over the years.
“I really need everyone to spare me the faux outrage and the pearl-clutching about this.”
“Little collection of things that Donald Trump and high-ranking Republicans call liberals on a daily basis: anarchists, anti-American, deranged, communists, corrupt, compromised, groomers and perverts, thugs and traitors.”
Tarlov also noted that if President Joe Biden happened to have been indicted on 91 criminal charges the way Trump has, what would Republicans have to say about that? They clearly have no problem with Trump’s legal issues.
The real reason Republicans are so upset by what Hillary Clinton said is because she’s absolutely right. MAGA is a cult, and the only way cult members can ever be reformed is by deprogramming them.
Cry all you want, Jeanine. The truth always hits hardest for a liar.
