Corruption Espionage Trump-Russia

Former Trump Business Partner Tells His Family He And POTUS ‘Are Going To Prison’

In the months ahead, as the investigation into President Trump’s possible collusion with Russia intensifies, chances are good that one name you’ll be hearing a lot of is Felix Sater. Sater has done numerous business deals with Trump over the years, and is alleged to have ties to various organized crime organizations in the United States and Russia.

According to an article in The Spectator, Sater is reportedly telling family members that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s exhaustive examination of the president’s financial dealings may result in charges of money laundering for both him and Trump. Trump himself recently told the New York Times:

“I mean, it’s possible there’s a condo or something, so, you know, I sell a lot of condo units, and somebody from Russia buys a condo, who knows?”

Sater could wind up being a key witness against Trump. And since he already has a history of legal troubles, the motivation for Sater to cooperate with Mueller is even greater than for other Trump associates.

According to the report by Paul Wood in The Spectator:

“For several weeks there have been rumours that Sater is ready to rat again, agreeing to help Mueller. ‘He has told family and friends he knows he and POTUS are going to prison,’ someone talking to Mueller’s investigators informed me.”

Earlier this month, Sater seemed to confirm that he would indeed be cooperating with investigators, telling New York Magazine:

“In about the next 30 to 35 days, I will be the most colourful character you have ever talked about. Unfortunately, I can’t talk about it now, before it happens. And believe me, it ain’t anything as small as whether or not they’re gonna call me to the Senate committee.”

The other former Trump confidant who is likely cooperating with the Mueller probe is former campaign chair Paul Manafort. Manafort, whose house was raided by the FBI a few weeks ago, has numerous connections to Russia and once received a salary of $10 million a year from a Russian oligarch.

Should Sater, Manafort, and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn all agree to spill the beans on Trump and members of the Trump inner circle, Sater’s prediction of prison time for the president could indeed become a reality.
