Donald Trump Proclaims: ‘In Fact, I Am The Least Racist Person’

According to Donald Trump, Donald Trump (yes, he has that annoying habit of referring to himself in the third person) is not the least bit racist. Sure, he says Hispanics from Mexico are rapists and drug dealers, talks about banning all Muslims from entering the United States, and has most recently been saying a federal judge cannot be impartial because he’s Latino, but that doesn’t mean Trump is racist.

In other breaking news, pigs are now flying and will soon begin taking reservations for international flights to destinations around the world.

As part of an interview with the Washington Post on Friday, Trump declared:

“I am not a racist, in fact, I am the least racist person that you’ve ever encountered.”

To prove that he isn’t racist, Trump showed Post reporters an article from a Cleveland newspaper which said boxing promoted Don King had just endorsed him. Trump told the Post:

“This is Don King. Now, Don King knows racism probably better than anybody. He’s not endorsing a racist, OK?”

Trump also posted this tweet on his Twitter account:

One small problem: Don King says he never endorsed Trump:

“No … I’m endorsing the people. I’m not a Republican or a Democrat, I’m a Republicrat, and I go with the will of the people. The only reason Trump exists is because of the will of the people.”

The presumptive GOP nominee also made an odd comparison, alleging that he doesn’t think most people see him as racist, and then adding:

“Bill Clinton was called a racist by Obama.”

That, of course, is yet another lie from the mouth of Donald Trump. President Obama never called former President Clinton a racist. In 2008, Clinton dismissed Obama’s candidacy as a “fairy tale,” and Obama campaign staffers said they felt the comments diminished the historic nature of a black politician’s candidacy.

Also on Friday, Trump spoke to a group of religious conservatives and told them:

“Freedom of any kind means no one should be judged by their race or their color and the tone of his hue, should not be judged that way.We will work together to rebuild and restore and lift up everyone. Not a certain group, everyone.”

One wonders how long it will take Trump to say something else which proves those words were nothing more than window dressing for the true hatred burning in the heart of this vile man.

One reply on “Donald Trump Proclaims: ‘In Fact, I Am The Least Racist Person’”

I’m not a Mexican, a Muslim, or a Jew, I’m Black, and the very FIRST speech Trump gave when announcing his candidacy was the most RACIST thing I’ve ever heard from a person who went on to become his party’s Nominee for President. Trump has about 0% support among Hispanics and Blacks, and we are going to make our displeasure and disapproval of him felt and heard on Nov. 8th, 2016.
