It’s been the week from hell for Corey Lewandowski, the former manager of the Trump 2016 presidential campaign.
First, it was reported that Lewandowski had been given the boot by a pro-Trump super PAC because he had sexually harassed the wife of a powerful GOP donor, as Politico first reported Wednesday:
Trashelle Odom, the wife of Idaho construction executive John Odom, alleges that Lewandowski repeatedly touched her, including on her leg and buttocks, and spoke to her in sexually graphic terms. Odom said that Lewandowski “stalked” her throughout the evening.
And now we’re getting more details about what Lewandowski told Ms. Odom, and if what he said can be proven, Lewandowski could be going to prison for the rest of his life.
According to The Daily Mail, Lewandowski also bragged about being a murderer:
(Odom) laimed in the police report obtained by DailyMail.com that the married Lewandowski said that he ‘was from a bad part of Boston and to have killed people,’ while seated next to her at the charity dinner at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas on on September 26.
Odom claimed that on the night of the dinner – which she was personally invited to with South Dakota Gov Kristi Noem by American socialite Jackie Siegel – she was frightened when he allegedly told her: ‘When I was 10, I stabbed someone over and over again, killing him. She added that the father-of-four told her that when he was older, he ‘stabbed a man in the back of the head, also killing him’.
Even if Lewandowski was lying, what sort of person tries to impress a woman by claiming to be a killer? Is that supposed to make him more attractive? Only if she’s as crazy as he is.
Of course, Lewandowski has always been seen as somewhat of a loose cannon and thug, a man who issues threats because he doesn’t know how to debate or use logic to solve a problem.
Back in 2016, CNN looked into Lewandowski’s past, which included a stint as a New Hampshire state police officer.
First and foremost, Lewandowski is a liar, which is probably why Trump liked him so much. He even denied he had grabbed a reporter when there was video evidence he had done so:
Lewandowski burst out of the shadows in March when a Breitbart News reporter accused him of grabbing her by the arm while she attempted to ask Trump a question after an event in Florida.
The reporter, Michelle Fields — who left Breitbart after the incident and now works for the Huffington Post — said Lewandowski yanked her arm, nearly pulling her to the ground. She later posted a photo of bruises she alleged were from the encounter.
Almost every other staffer in the Trump 2016 campaign despised Lewandowski:
The campaign did a pretty good job keeping that under wraps, but in May, The New York Post reported that Trump campaign spokeswoman was spotted berating Lewandowski on a New York street corner.
“Hope was screaming at Corey, ‘I am done with you!’” The Post reported an anonymous source saying. “It was ugly, she was doubled over with her fists clenched. He stood there looking shocked with his hands on his head.”
Corey Lewandowski belongs behind bars. Seems like that’s true for almost everyone that’s ever been in Trump’s inner circle.
