Trump Spits On The Memory Of Colin Powell With Disgusting Statement On His Passing

Even though he waited 24 hours before commenting on the death of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, who died of COVID complications on Monday, failed, one-term former President Donald Trump made sure to trash Powell’s legacy in a statement he issued through his spokesperson, Liz Harrington.

“Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq, and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media. Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic RINO, if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace.”

Of course, Donald Trump has never made any mistakes. At least, not in his deranged mind. He mishandled the response to COVID, threatened our allies, praised murderous dictators such as Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, and has been accused of sexually assaulting dozens of women, yet he has the nerve to slag a true American hero who served his country with honor and distinction.

Reaction to Trump’s hateful statement was immediate:

Fox News Social Media WTF?!

Tucker Carlson Gets Crushed Online After He Mocks ‘Breastfeeding’ Buttigieg For Taking Paternity Leave

You probably recall that back in July, while he was on vacation in Montana, Fox News host Tucker Carlson was approached by a man named Dan Bailey who told him to his face:

“You are the worst human being known to mankind. I want you to know that.”

And now, yet again, Carlson has proved that he is indeed the worst human being known to mankind for comments he made about Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg taking family leave since he and his husband, Chasten, recently adopted twins.

On his show Thursday evening, Carlson not only chided Buttigieg for taking leave (which he’s entitled to under the law), but he also decided he’d toss in a line about how he wondered if “breastfeeding” had worked out.

What in the hell is that all about? Is Carlson just trying to let his audience know he hates Buttigieg because he’s gay, or is he suggesting that two men shouldn’t be allowed to adopt?

Whatever Carlson’s point was, his comments were met with anger and disdain on Twitter:

UPDATE: Secretary Buttigieg responded to Carlson during an appearance on “Deadline: White House, remarking:

“I don’t think that even speaks for most people, on the other side of the aisle from the party that I belong to. This is largely a consensus issue, not just the support for families like mine to have a right to marry and right to be treated equally, but also that families in general. Moms and dads have to be able to support their children including with paid leave.”

Eric Swalwell Trolls Jim Jordan On Twitter: ‘Ohio Should Mandate Sexual Assault Reporting For Coaches’

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) seems to have a pathological need to draw attention to himself despite the fact that such attention usually comes back to bite him right on the ass.

Such is the case with a tweet Jordan sent out regarding vaccine mandates, according to Mediaite:

While many prominent conservatives have spoken out and even banned mandates against Covid-19, few have suggested there should be such prohibitions against all vaccine mandates. But on Tuesday, that’s appeared to be what Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) did, tweeting on Tuesday that his state should ban all vax mandates.

Really? All vaccine mandates should be banned? Does that include childhood vaccinations which keep our kids and school safe? Or would Jordan prefer if students were missing months of classroom time because they were constantly contracting one disease after another? Some would even wind up dead as a result, but at least the congressman would have an issue he could put on a bumper sticker.

That led Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) to fire off a devastating response to Jordan, referencing the sexual abuse scandal that took place while Jordan was a wrestling coach at Ohio State University. It has been alleged that Jordan knew abuse was taking place but didn’t report it to university administrators or the authorities:

That’s what you call burning someone down to the ashes on Twitter.

Well done, Congressman Swalwell.

Ted Cruz Attacked Biden For Going On ‘Vacation’ – That Was A Cancun-Sized Mistake

Ted Cruz may well be the least self-aware person in all of Washington, and as a result he continually tries to attack others on social media but only winds up owning himself in absolutely humiliating fashion.

This time, Cruz saw a tweet online from the GOP that chided President Joe Biden for going on “vacation,” which is not exactly the proper word for the president going back to his home state of Delaware for the long Columbus Day weekend.

What the GOP didn’t mention are the endless golfing vacations failed former President Donald Trump took and charged taxpayers for. Trump played more golf in four years than Arnold Palmer did in his entire life.

Trying desperately to attach his name to the GOP tweet, Cruz thought he’d attempt a jab at President Biden while also sliding in a bit of self-deprecating ribbing for himself.

You probably recall that back in February, as the state of Texas was suffering under a terrible winter storm, Cruz and his family boarded a flight for the Mexican resort. Cruz later blamed the entire thing on his children.

But he can’t blame anyone but himself for the online payback he got for his posting:

Next time you’re tempted to tweet, Ted, stick your head up your ass instead. Oh, never mind; I see it’s permanently implanted there.

Ted Cruz’s Latest Disgusting ‘Joke’ Is Getting Him Pilloried On Social Media

Even though he has absolutely no sense of humor and is universally disliked by in the U.S. Senate, even by his Republican colleagues, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas is fond of attempting to troll people on Twitter, even though his trolling almost always comes back to bite him squarely on his fat ass.

Cruz’s latest failed attempt at humor deals with a NASCAR race that took place over the weekend.

According to Deadline:

NBC NASCAR reporter Kelli Stavast is either hard of hearing, or a very, very quick thinker.

While interviewing driver Brandon Brown on Saturday at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama after he won his first NASCAR Xfinity Series race, Stavast had to deal with an unruly crowd. The racing fans, sensing the live cameras, broke into what’s fast becoming a popular chant at college football games in the south and midwest. The populist commentary involves President Joe Biden.

Stavast bravely soldiered on despite the obvious disruption. As an emotional Brown struggled to be heard above the crowd’s din, she interjected. “As you can hear the chants from the crowd, ‘Let’s go, Brandon.’”

Fans and Americans in general can offer any commentary they want regarding whoever happens to be president. They can even be profane when they do so. It’s one of the beautiful things about living in a country where we have freedom of speech and the right to say pretty much anything we want about our elected representatives.

And so Sen. Cruz thought he’d try to get in on the fun, but the way he did so ended up sounding churlish, mean-spirited, and undignified:

Funny? Not really. But humor is subjective, so maybe the MAGA faithful had a good hearty laugh at the senator’s cheap shot.

But should a sitting U.S. senator be making such a joke? Would Cruz like it if people chanted, “Fuck Ted Cruz!” everywhere he went? After all, this is the same Ted Cruz who booked a flight for Cancun rather than stay in Texas while his constituents were freezing in their homes and going without water for weeks when a massive ice storm hit last winter.

Cruz got the reaction he deserved:

If there’s any justice in the universe, the next time Ted Cruz books a flight to Cancun, the plane will wind up in Syria.
