ABC Host Calls Out Trump Press Secy. For Lying– Seconds After She Promised To Never Lie! (VIDEO)

Last week, after just six months on the job, Sean Spicer resigned as White House Press Secretary. He was replaced by Sarah Huckabee-Sanders, who made an appearance on This Week Sunday morning and was asked by host George Stephanopoulos:

“Do you promise to try the always tell the truth from that podium?”

To that, Sanders vowed:

“Absolutely. Not just to you. I think that is our duty, certainly. I have three young kids. I want to go home and be able to look them in the eye every day. That’s far more important to me to be able to do that and have that highest level of honesty and integrity. I want to do that in every single thing I do. Not just my job. This is an extension of me being able to do that. I’m excited and honored to do it.”

Next, Stephanopoulos noted that President Trump and his staff had “not been straight about exactly what happened” regarding Russia’s interference in the U.S. election. He then added:

“In fact, the attorney general first said he never had a meeting with Russians. Now you have a new intercept that says he did talk about the campaign.”

Rather than respond, Sanders began…lying! She just said she wouldn’t ever lie to the media, but she’s right back at it. Lying is the default position for anyone who works for this White House. Sanders replied:

“If we’re going to talk about issues with Russia, and I think that we certainly should, one of the first places we should look is at the $500,000 that Bill Clinton took from Russians when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state,” Sanders complained. “If we want to talk about collusion, I think that is one of the first places we should look. They should ask for that money back.

“The media loves to talk about it only when it comes to President Trump. They’ve been doing it for almost a year. They’ve come up with nothing when there’s real issues with some of the activities that the Democrats took place in.”

Fortunately, Stephanopoulos didn’t hesitate to call bullshit on Sanders, telling her:

“You know that’s not true. You know for many months that you and the president and his teams denied any contact with the Russians. Just in the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen those contacts revealed. That’s why Don Jr. is going to have to appear before the Senate. That’s why Jared Kushner is appearing before the Senate as well. This is not a made-up story from the press.”

Members of the Trump administration should heed some words many of us learned as children from our parents and grandparents: Always tell the truth; it’s easier to remember.

Fox News Lies Minimum Wage WTF?!

HEARTLESS! Fox News Decides To Mock Woman Who Cannot Afford To Buy Food

Even for Fox News, this may well be a new low.

On a segment aired yesterday, Fox host Sandra Smith featured a discussion in which she referred to a former Yelp employee who complained the company only paid her minimum wage and she had been unable to afford food.

In response, a heartless sack of excrement named Stefanie Williams wrote a rebuttal in which she stated that the Yelp employee:

“Believes she deserves these things that most of us would call luxuries.”

Since when is food a freaking luxury?!

Williams appeared on Fox to explain her brainless rant, and Williams once again decided to spew out bile, telling Sandra Smith:

“I mean, the whole thing kind of sounded Dickens-esque, like I am so poor, oh, my God, I’m so poor. But when I got to the end and I realized she had included a link to her Venmo account and a PayPal account asking for people to help her to pay rent because she had gotten fired, I just sat there and was like, you have got to be kidding me that this girl is legitimately asking people to pay her rent for her in San Francisco.”

No doubt Ms. Williams would prefer if the woman in question had been homeless so she could have kicked her as she walked by.

The idiotic Williams added:

“She didn’t have a second job. She didn’t have any supplemental income. And she willingly agreed to the salary they promised her. Clearly, you knew what you were going to be getting paid. You made these financial decisions on your own and now you’re expecting the company to finance you not for the work you’re doing, but for the lifestyle you chose, the apartment you chose, the city you chose to live in, and only having one job.”

I sincerely hope Stefanie Williams never has any financial problems or reversals in her life, but I do have some news for her: Karma can be one mean son of a bitch.

Here’s the Segment From Fox News:

These Walmart Workers Are Making A Huge Sacrifice In Their Fight For A Living Wage

Some 100 Walmart employees have joined a movement to fast for the 15 days leading up to Thanksgiving. They saythis is a protest for an increase in the minimum wage to $15 an hour. And they may also be joined by up to 1000  more low-wage earners around the country who are taking this measure in the hope that people will finally take notice of the growing problem of people who work full-time jobs yet still earn wages which are far below the poverty level.

Some of the protesters will fast for the entire 15 days. Others will join for shorter periods. Many will rely on liquid-only diets for sustenance.

Andrea Dehlendorf, co-executive director of the Organization United for Respect at Walmart, commented:

“The number of people willing to go hungry to call out Wal-Mart injustice is simply unheard of. Workers can’t even afford to buy groceries there.”

Another former Walmart employee who will be joining the fast, Denise Barlage, said she often heard co-workers say they could not afford to buy enough food or even gas to get to work daily. Some employees said they would share their own sandwich with colleagues who could not buy food. Barlage noted:

“These are decisions no one should have to make.”

As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said so very eloquently in 1965:

“The curse of poverty has no justification in our age. It is socially as cruel and blind as the practice of cannibalism at the dawn of civilization, when men ate each other because they had not yet learned to take food from the soil or to consume the abundant animal life around them. The time has come for us to civilize ourselves by the total, direct and immediate abolition of poverty.”

This is even truer today when thousands of Walmart workers are further enriching one of the biggest corporations in the world while they personally fall further behind. This is not just an economic issue, it is a moral one.

Minimum Wage Money Politics

Bernie Sanders Responds To The GOP Minimum Wage Debate, And It’s Freaking Awesome!

Bernie Sanders has supported raising the minimum wage for a long time, and has even marched with minimum wage workers who are seeking to have the wage raised nationally.

So it was no surprise that last night’s GOP debate began with a question to the Republican candidates: Do you support raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour?

Donald Trump replied that we all need to work harder, as if we’re not already doing that. Ben Carson told a long, meandering story which had nothing to do with the question, then finally said “no,” he did not support raising it. Overall, the GOP puppets spit out their preprogrammed robotic talking points and not a single one of them showed support for helping American workers.

Senator Sanders was also watching the debate, and he was lightning fast with his valid criticism of the Republican wannabes. He tweeted out:

And then Sanders escalated the debate to another level and tweeted about income inequality, reminding Americans that Donald Trump pays the same amount of Social Security tax as someone making $118K per year:

With each GOP debate, it becomes clearer that the Republicans will say and do anything to protect the interests of those who give them the most campaign money–i.e the Koch Brothers, Sheldon Adelson–and have no problem at all making sure American workers continue to get screwed by their employers.
