WATCH: Fox Host Swats Down Ted Cruz For Claiming MSNBC Doesn’t ‘Cover News’

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz got an on-air fact check from Fox News host Howard Kurtz Sunday when he claimed that MSNBC is “dishonest” and doesn’t cover news.

Appearing on Media Buzz, Cruz attacked any news outlet that didn’t lean to the right.

Kurtz began by asking the senator, “You say for conservators of big bucks buy a damn movie studio, buy a network, buy CNN. But you think the megacorporations that these outlets, that own these outlets, are run by wild-eyed liberals?”

“Well, for whatever reason, yes,” Cruz replied. “And MSNBC is a rabidly partisan, dishonest institution. They’re not, they don’t cover news, you know.”

Kurtz: “Sure, they cover news. Not the way you want it.”

“No, they don’t, no, they don’t,” Cruz insisted, suggesting that neither MSNBC or CNN had reported on his so-called funding bill for aid to Israel, which has no chance of passing both houses of Congress.

“They’re trying to do a bigger package,” Kurtz noted, once again fact-checking Cruz.

Cruz then told the host, “If you watch CNN, MSNBC, there is no border crisis. Doesn’t exist, because they don’t cover on those facts.”

But Kurtz wouldn’t let that lie slide, either, telling Cruz the two networks do indeed cover the border “at times” and adding, “MSNBC has been covering the border crisis at least this week.”

Just how out of touch and extreme right-wing is Ted Cruz? So much that even traditional allies like Fox are letting him know he’s full of shit.

WATCH: Maria Bartiromo Almost Begs Jim Jordan To Impeach Biden Before He Wins The 2024 Election

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo is so terrified that President Joe Biden will win the 2024 election that she’s begging House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) to speed up the process.

Jordan was a guest on “Sunday Morning Futures,” and was asked by the host:

“Tell us what your expectations are in terms of this investigation, and will it lead to an impeachment of Joe Biden?”

Jordan responded:

“I believe we will get the depositions and the interviews done in this calendar year and then make a decision early next year whether there are actual evidence warrants going to articles of impeachment and moving to that stage of the investigation.”

That’s when Bartiromo revealed her desperation:

“Well, the timing is important. We’ve got an election next year. President Trump is facing four indictments, and you’ve got this dereliction of duty.”

Jordan: “He said they come after him because he’s fighting for us. That is true. That’s what the swamp does. They’re going after President Trump because he kept his word, and he’s fighting for us.”

Trump kept his word? On what? The man is a pathological liar who belongs behind bars for the next 50 years.

While Republicans like to say they’re confident Trump can win in 2024, Bartiromo just made it clear they’re worried the multiply-indicted loser ex-president will only manage a victory with help if his opponent is impeached, something that happened to the Donald not once, but twice.

WATCH: Karine Jean-Pierre Gives Fox’s Peter Doocy A Lesson On The Issues Of Bigotry And Hate

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre schooled Fox correspondent Peter Doocy during the daily press briefing today, and while he tried to suggest the Biden administration hasn’t been vocal condemning anti-Israel demonstrations in the United States, Jean-Pierre made it clear he was wrong and trying to push a narrative that simply doesn’t exist.

Doocy began by asking, “Does President Biden think the anti-Israel protesters in this country are extremists?” 

The press secretary responded, “What I can say is that we’ve been very clear about this,” Jean-Pierre explained. “When it comes to anti-Semitism, there is no place. We have to make sure that we speak against it very loud and be very clear about that.”

Jean-Pierre then added that Biden had decided in large part to run in 2020 after seeing white supremacists marching in Charlottesville, Virginia as they chanted, “Jews will not replace us!”

“He saw neo-Nazis marching down the streets of Charlottesville with vile, anti-Semitic hatred.”

Doocy, however, wasn’t content with that answer, so he continued to push:

“We hear you guys talk about extremists all the time. It is usually about MAGA extremists. So what about these protesters who are making Jewish students feel unsafe on college campuses? Are they extremists?”

Jean-Pierre reiterated that the administration was “calling out any form of hate.”

“Does President Biden look at these anti-Israel protests on college campuses and think it’s nice to see that the country’s youth are so involved, or does he think the next generation is doomed?” Doocy asked.

“Here’s the thing, there’s no place for hate in America,” Jean-Pierre replied, only to be interrupted by Doocy.

That’s when the press secretary dropped the hammer on Doocy.

“No, no, no, no. I’m telling you! There’s no place for hate in America, and we condemn any anti-Semitic threat or incident in the strongest terms.”

That’s a stark contrast with failed one-term former president Donald Trump, who insisted there were “very fine people” on both sides of what transpired in Charlottesville.

There is no such thing as a “fine” anti-Semite, bigot, or racist. They’re a stain on this country and they deserve to be called out and shamed in the strongest terms possible.

WATCH A Fox Host Put This GOP Congressman In His Place For Refusing To Do His Job

Fox Business host Stuart Varney got into a verbal altercation with Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), and put the congressman in his place for refusing to say he’d be willing to compromise with Democrats and avoid a government shutdown later this year.

During a Monday interview, Varney told Roy, “Well, reading between the lines, it sounds like you are a holdout again, and that you are quite prepared to shut the government down. You are, aren’t you? Yes, you are.”

Roy responded:

“Well, let me just say, Stuart, the question here is, do you believe that we should continue to fund a United Nations that literally just stood with Hamas? Should we continue to fund a wide open border that is endangering my constituents, where people are dying from fentanyl?”
“No, I’m not going to blindly saddle up and say, sure, let me write another blank check for all of America to wonder what their leaders in Washington are doing.”

That’s when Varney called Roy out for his recalcitrance.

“But I do remember, was it three, four weeks ago? House Republicans rejected a deal that Speaker McCarthy had worked out because they said it wasn’t good enough, and we had three weeks where we didn’t have a speaker, and the Republican Party was embarrassed up and down the wazoo throughout the entire country.”

“Well, remember, Stuart, that I was a part of putting forward a proposal that would have reduced spending, secured our border, and kept the government going,” Roy countered.

Varney then reminded Roy, “Yeah, and you didn’t have the votes for it. So what’s the point? Now we have a speaker. What is the point? If you know you don’t have the votes, so you shut down the government, we’re embarrassed all over again.”

Clearly agitated by what the Fox host had just said, Roy had this to say:

“All right, Stuart, what do you want to do? Sign up for the endless spending plan for our Democratic colleagues that’s destroying our country.”
“If that’s what you want, then just bring Democrats on your show to continue to vomit out all of the ridiculous spending programs and my Republican colleagues who absolutely refuse to do their job and do what they said they would do.”

Who’s refusing to do their job? Chip Roy and many of his Republican colleagues. They’re willing to shut down the government, send the economy into a tailspin, and then try to blame it all on someone else.

Every elected Republican needs to be voted out of office come November of next year. It’s the only way this country will ever be able to move forward and get things done.

Sidney Powell’s Plea Deal Should Have Fox’s Maria Bartiromo ‘Looking Over Her Shoulder’

The plea deal made with Georgia prosecutors Thursday by former Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell could wind up having major legal implications for others who played a role in the attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Among those who are now vulnerable, according to Marshall Cohen of CNN, is Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo.

Powell had numerous contacts with other people in Trump’s orbit and could now be required to turn over evidence against them. Her guilty plea also implicates the group of Republicans who breached Coffee County’s voting systems in early 2021. Another member of that alleged scheme, bail bondsman Scott Hall, has already pleaded guilty.

She was also in touch with prominent right-wing media figures, including former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and current Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo. All three of them are facing defamation lawsuits from voting technology companies, and Powell’s admissions in the criminal cases could strengthen the defamation allegations.

Fox has already had to pay a massive settlement of $787.5 million to Dominion Voting Systems, and now Bartiromo could also be on the hook for millions in addition to possibly losing her job for featuring Powell and other members of the Trump team as part of her show.

Powell’s plea deal is also a problem for failed former president when it comes to the federal case filed against him by Special Counsel Jack Smith, Cohen notes.

Just think of it: Trump, Bartiromo, and Tucker Carlson finally having to pay a price for their lies. That would be some incredibly sweet karma.
