Eric Trump Just Put His Dad In Even Worse Legal Trouble

On Wednesday, Eric Trump managed to get his father, failed former president Donald Trump, in worse legal trouble than he was already facing with comments he made on social media in defiance of a judge overseeing the defamation trial brought by E. Jean Carroll against the ex-president.

During a court hearing in New York City, U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan warned Trump attorney Joseph Tacopina that his client was “tampering with a new source of potential liability” and noted that he should advise the former president not to comment on the trial.

A few hours later, as the trial resumed after a lunch break, attorneys for Carroll informed Judge Kaplan that Eric Trump had also made postings on social media about the trial.

Here’s what Eric posted on Twitter:

“Jean Carroll’s legal battle against my father is allegedly being FUNDED by political activist Reid Hoffman (co-founder of Linkedin). A civil lawsuit, being funded by a billionaire, with no direct involvement in the case, out of pure hatred, spite or fear of a formidable candidate, is an embarrassment to our country, should be illegal, and tells you everything you need to know about the case at hand.”

That led Judge Kaplan to tell Tacopina that his client was “now sailing in harm’s way with his son,” adding, “If I was in your shoes, I’d be having a conversation with your client.”

The defamation trial continues today in New York.

Trumps Face Backlash For Targeting Daughter Of Judge Overseeing Donald’s Manhattan Trial

Indicted former president Donald Trump and two of his sons — Don Jr. and Eric — are being hit with massive online backlash and could also face legal ramifications for deliberately targeting the daughter of the judge overseeing the disgraced ex-president’s criminal trial in Manhattan.

Prior to the failed former president’s arraignment and booking in New York this afternoon, Breitbart published a story about Loren Merchan, the daughter of New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan.

The story from Breitbart suggested that Loren Merchan was a Democratic operative:

“According to Merchan’s archived LinkedIn account, she worked as the ‘Director of Digital Persuasion’ for ‘Kamala Harris For The People’ from February 2019 through December 2019 — which was during the 2020 presidential election. And according to the company’s website, the ‘Biden-Harris’ campaign was also a client.”

While Ms. Merhcan may have worked for the Harris campaign, there is absolutely no evidence that her father is politically biased in any manner at all.

But that didn’t stop the loser ex-president from posting an all-caps attack on his failing Truth Social site.

“VERY UNFAIR VENUE, WITH SOME AREAS THAT VOTED 1% REPUBLICAN. THIS CASE SHOULD BE MOVED TO NEARBY STATEN ISLAND – WOULD BE A VERY FAIR AND SECURE LOCATION FOR THE TRIAL. ADDITIONALLY, THE HIGHLY PARTISAN JUDGE & HIS FAMILY ARE WELL KNOWN TRUMP HATERS. HE WAS AN UNFAIR DISASTER ON A PREVIOUS TRUMP RELATED CASE, WOULDN’T RECUSE, GAVE HORRIBLE JURY INSTRUCTIONS, & IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH DURING THE WITCH HUNT TRIAL. HIS DAUGHTER WORKED FOR ‘KAMALA’ & NOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS CAMPAIGN. KANGAROO COURT!!!”

Then Eric Trump joined the chorus:

“They are all hand-picked. It is all pre-arranged. This corruption is on a different level.”

Donald Trump Jr. couldn’t resist adding his hateful take on the matter, too:

“Seems relevant… yet another connection in this hand-picked Democrat show trial. The BS never ends folks.”

Social media quickly reminded the Trumps that it was quite obvious they were attempting to intimidate Judge Merchan and his daughter and that they were disgusted by the postings.

Eric Trump Whines About His Old Man’s Indictment By Complaining About … CVS Pharmacy?!

The Trump spawn were out in full force Thursday evening after disgraced former president Donald Trump was indicted on more than 30 counts by a Manhattan grand jury.

Eric Trump, who serves as Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, made an appearance on Fox News, whining to host Sean Hannity about how unfair it is that his old man is now facing the very serious prospect of spending significant time in prison.

HuffPost reports that Eric made an odd subject shift during his discussion with Hannity.

Eric Trump, who called the indictment “third world prosecutorial misconduct” in a tweet, suggested in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and New York Attorney General Letitia James have political motives in targeting his father.

He claimed that his family didn’t receive “so much as a speeding ticket” before his father’s presidency and name-dropped CVS during his claim that New York City was falling apart.

“I went into literally CVS the other day, and you can’t buy Tylenol because it’s locked behind these glass counters because there’s so much theft, there’s so much looting, there’s so much homelessness and crime.

“But their attention is going after Donald Trump.”

When someone says they “literally” did something (especially if their last name is Trump), you can automatically assume that they’re lying their ass off.

While he was at it, Eric also insisted that his dad “deserves a pass,” which led Hannity to make the obligatory right-winger mention of Hillary Clinton, whom he claimed received a pass.

Don’t you just love how the Trumps continue to believe they should be allowed to commit any criminal act and get away with it? Karma is finally catching up with them and it’s so damn fun watching them squirm.

Don Jr. And Eric Gave Trump Org. CFO A $200K Raise After They Discovered He Was Cooking The Books

Allen Weisselberg, the former CFO of the Trump Organization, said said under oath Friday that Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump knew he was engaging in tax fraud on behalf of the company yet gave him a $200,000 a year raise after they found out about his crimes.

The New York Post reports that Don Jr. and Eric discovered Weisselberg’s illegal actions in 2017. Specifically, he and two other top Trump Org. executives were getting perks they didn’t report as income on their taxes, but the ex-president’s sons weren’t upset by the discovery.

The sons learned of the tax cheating during a “cleanup process” the company underwent with tax auditors when Trump took office as president, Weisselberg said.

When prosecutor Susan Hoffinger asked the longtime chief financial officer if the Trump Org. demoted or punished him in light of the discovery, he said no.

“Were you in fact given a raise … that totaled approximately $200,000?” Hoffinger asked.

“Correct,” Weisselberg replied on his final day of testimony.

Weisselberg pleaded guilty in August of accepting $1.7 million worth of unreported benefits that included free rent on an expensive apartment on the Upper West Side, luxury cars, and private school tuition payments for his grandchildren.

The Trump Organization is accused of helping Weisselberg and other top managers cheat on their taxes for 15 years by falsifying reports to the government.

Today’s revelations come as Trump, his children, and his company are facing massive civil penalties in a case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James. If Trump Org. is found guilty in that case, the company could face massive financial penalties and the imposition of a economic “death penalty” that prohibit them from ever doing business in the state of New York again. Trump Org. is headquartered in the Empire State even though the failed former president now lives in Palm Beach, Florida, at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

The one-term, twice-impeached ex-president it also facing the prospect of being charged under the Espionage Act for hoarding classified documents at Mar-a-Lago in violation of federal law.

Eric Trump May Have Just Cost Republicans The Midterm Election 

For months now, pollsters and political advisers have been urging Republican candidates not to make the 2022 midterm elections about disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump because doing so will hand the election to Democrats.

Yet despite the warnings, Eric Trump went on Newsmax and declared that the GOP is indeed the Party of Trump.

“We knew when we stood on that stage and you’re going to find out who your real friends were. My father is the first thing that he said to us as a family, and you know what? I’ve loved fighting for this country. We’ve taken an unbelievable amount of arrows, but we love red, white and blue. And um, I certainly hope my father does it again.

“I think he’s the best president this country has ever had. He’s willing to fight. No other Republican is willing to fight and I think he’s fundamentally changed the party. The Republican Party is no longer the Republican Party. It is the Trump party.”

The Republican Party is the Trump party, Eric? That’s good to know, even though many of us have known it for quite some time now.

The GOP allows Trump to handpick candidates. They have continued to defend him no matter what he says or does, even when his words and actions are detrimental to them. They’re in a codependent relationship with a man who only cares about himself and is only interested in how he can promote his brand and name.

Recent polls show the ground is shifting under the Republicans. A once-comfortable lead in many key House and Senate races has evaporated, and the weakest GOP candidates are (surprise!) the ones that Trump endorsed.

If indeed the midterms don’t give Republicans the results they need, will they finally cut Trump off and ban him from their party? Of course not! They’re too afraid of him and too brainwashed to change their behavior.
