Kathy Griffin Claps Back After Elon Musk Suspends Her Twitter Account

On Sunday, Twitter CEO Elon Musk got his feelings hurt by comedian Kathy Griffin, so he suspended her account despite his claims of restoring free speech on the social media platform he purchased for $44 billion 10 days ago.

NBC News reports that Griffin dared to mock Musk, which led him to take the action.

Comedian Kathy Griffin’s Twitter account was suspended Sunday, the same day she changed her page’s title to “Elon Musk” and mocked the new CEO.

It wasn’t clear whether the suspension was permanent or a direct result of her mockery. It came as Musk announced that accounts that impersonate celebrities and other notables would be prohibited unless they’re labeled “parody.”

Others were also booted from the site for impersonating.

Griffin, however, got the last work on Musk’s suspension of her account in a novel way, according to HuffPost.

She then resurrected her deceased mother’s account to proclaim “Free Kathy” and trigger a war of words with the world’s richest man.

On her late mother’s account, Griffin went after Musk, verbally eviscerating him and his new “policy” of suspending all accounts that impersonate others but fail to carry a warning that they’re “parody.”

Musk attempted to fight back, but his response was tepid at best.

But Griffin had the perfect retort.

Musk later tweeted that Griffin could have her account back, but she’d have to pay $8 a month. It remains to be seen if anyone on the face of the planet will go along Musk’s attempt to extort money from Twitter users.

Elon Musk Mocks Trump’s Truth Social And Suggests New Name For The Site

Even though he claims he’s actually going to purchase Twitter this time, Elon Musk still doesn’t control the social media site, and is lashing out at a potential competitor.

Speaking with the Financial Times, Musk had this to say about Truth Social (a.k.a. Twitter for losers), which failed, one-term former president Donald Trump now uses since he was banned from Facebook and Twitter for spreading lies about the 2020 election, which he lost in a landslide to President Joe Biden.

“[Truth Social] is essentially a rightwing echo chamber. It might as well be called Trumpet.”

So why is Musk suddenly interested in controlling Twitter, a deal he abandoned just months ago?

“I’m not doing Twitter for the money. It’s not like I’m trying to buy some yacht and I can’t afford it. I don’t own any boats. But I think it’s important that people have a maximally trusted and inclusive means of exchanging ideas and that it should be as trusted and transparent as possible.”

Musk’s interview with the Financial Times was wide-ranging and included the topic of his children, some of whom have publicly disowned him.

He also expressed his concern the American left has taken over academia and is warping the minds of young people. While he very briefly discussed his transgender daughter, Musk blamed “communism.”

“It’s full-on communism… and a general sentiment that if you’re rich, you’re evil,” He said. “[The relationship with her] may change, but I have very good relationships with all the others. Can’t win them all.”

The American left is evil, and yet Musk is still so ill-informed and brainwashed that he thinks anyone who disagrees with him is a communist. That’s classic right-wing propaganda, and it proves what an intellectually lazy person Elon Musk is and apparently always will be.

As for Truth Social, recent reports suggest it won’t be around much longer because it’s hemorrhaging money and losing investors.

Donald, Elon, And Kanye Get New Nicknames When A Tweet Comes Back To Bite Them

The Twitter account for the House Judiciary Republicans (which is controlled by Ohio Republican Jim Jordan), sent out a bizarre tweet Thursday evening that has set off a wave of online mockery.

Here’s the tweet:

Rapper Kanye West, Tesla founder Elon Musk, and Donald Trump. What do these three have in common? Well, they’re all insufferable assholes. They also lie more often than they tell the truth. Oh, and they’re all big fans of the failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president.

Carlson has been in the news this week for his meeting with West, which CNN notes turned out to be surreal at times.

Kanye West has explained his thinking behind his decision to dress himself and several Black models in “White Lives Matter” shirts earlier this week.

West, who legally changed his name to “Ye,” told Fox News host Tucker Carlson that he wore it because “it’s the obvious thing.”

“The answer to why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter’ on a shirt is because they do,” West said during the interview that aired Thursday.

Reaction to Jordan’s tweet wasn’t what he had expected.

Tesla Sales Slide As More Potential Owners Tire Of Elon Musk Acting ‘Like A Seven-Year-Old’

Now that he’s backed out of his bid to buy Twitter (although there’s a court battle which make require him to pay billions for his change of heart), Elon Musk is back to running Tesla Motors.

But Tesla isn’t exactly the only game in town when it comes to electric vehicles, and Musk’s childish behavior and infantile tweets are driving many potential customers to steer clear of Musk’s car company, according to a new report from Bloomberg:

“Before it was reported Musk had an affair with Sergey Brin’s wife, which he’s denied; before his slip-shod deal, then no-deal, to acquire Twitter Inc.; before the revelation he fathered twins with an executive at his brain-interface startup Neuralink; before SpaceX fired employees who called him “a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment”; before his daughter changed her name and legal gender after his history of mocking pronouns; before an article said SpaceX paid an employee $250,000 to settle a claim he sexually harassed her, allegations he’s called untrue; Musk’s behavior was putting off prospective customers and perturbing some Tesla owners.”

Case in point, Emma Sirr of Bozeman, Montana:

“We took Tesla off the table from the get-go. As consumers, our power is what we buy. I think younger generations in particular vote with their wallets, and I feel like that might come back to bite.”

Dennis Levitt bought his first Tesla in 2013 and says he thought it was “so much better than any car I’ve ever driven.”

But he has since soured on Musk and wishes he would stop trying to be an online troll:

“Over time, his public statements have really come to bother me. He acts like a seven-year-old.”

And while Musk remains the richest man in the world (at least for now), a major settlement against him in the Twitter lawsuit and decreasing sales at Tesla could wind up turning him into nothing but a has-been.

Stephanie Ruhle Lays An Perfect Smackdown On Elon Musk When He Tries To Troll Hunter Biden

Not so terribly long ago, Elon Musk was seen as one of the shrewdest and most successful entrepreneurs around, riding high and achieving the title of richest man in the world.

Now, however, after Musk launched a wildly overpriced $44 billion takeover bid of Twitter which he’s trying to renege on at the moment and stock in Tesla Motors has gotten crushed in the market, Elon is little more than a cautionary tale. Yes, he’s still a billionaire, but his bizarre behavior (and fondness for impregnating almost every women he meets) has turned him into something of a joke.

Perhaps hoping to remain semi-relevant and rile up those who worship him like a god (sounds a bit like another “great businessman,” doesn’t it?) Musk decided he’d take to Twitter and troll Hunter Biden with this semi-humorous posting:

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle saw Musk’s tweet and decided she’d reply, telling him this:

That’s a fair point, and be sure to note that Ruhle didn’t resort to name-calling or trying to counter-troll Musk.

And yet, Musk went low instead of high:

In the world of spoiled rich boy assholes that Elon Musk inhabits, Ruhle probably should have lit him up and made fun of him, but she didn’t, and that alone proves she’s a much better person than he’ll ever be.

So what say you, Elon? Are you willing to debate a smart, strong woman, or are you too busy losing what’s left of your fortune paying child support and attorney retainers? I’m betting you won’t because you’re a coward who prefers to hide behind his Twitter account.
