When it comes to the internet and social media, it’s not always easy to figure out why some things go viral while others languish in the outer reaches of the ether.
However, other items are destined for greatness from the get-go, either because they mock someone who is almost universally despised or they manage to tickle the collective funny bone in a manner that makes it irresistible.
And that’s the case with a photo/meme of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) that was shared on Twitter by singer and actor Bette Midler.
As Newsweek explains, Greene’s hat is an echo of a new slogan that was briefly used by failed former president Donald Trump.

Others on Twitter then joined the fun.
