Donald Trump Elections Religion

Addled Trump Calls Election Day ‘One Of The Biggest Dates In The History Of Religion’

Donald Trump absolutely loves to make fun of others. Whether it’s giving his rival an insulting nickname (“Crooked Hillary”) or making fun of how a person looks or speaks, Trump clearly delights in mocking others, even when doing so is downright cruel.

Perhaps Trump resorts to mocking others because he knows that he’s woefully inadequate himself and subject to ridicule every single time he opens his big mouth. The list of things one can mock this president for is seemingly endless. For example:

  • The rat’s nest he calls his hair
  • His enormous gut
  • His fake tan, which is clearly sprayed on, and often not very evenly
  • His mispronunciation of words, names, and places

Consider what happened recently when Trump spoke with pastors about the coronavirus pandemic. One of those on the conference call was Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council (FRC), a right-wing evangelical group that wants to run the United States based on the Bible and persecute anyone who disagrees with their view of morality.

At one point in the call, Trump wandered off topic and instead of discussing COVID-19 he began rambling about the November election, remarking, according to Right Wing Watch:

“We have a very, very big election coming up, especially if you’re evangelical—if you’re evangelical, if you’re Christian, if you’re, frankly, almost any faith. And I guess probably you could go any faith.

“And so, it’s just going to be, it’s a big date, Nov. 3—that’s going to be one of the biggest dates in the history of religion, as far as I’m concerned. So, I want you to be, we have to keep aware of that, ‘cause as we fight this, people are forgetting about anything else.”

It can be argued that Trump meant “biggest dates in the history of religion” because he was trying to curry favor with evangelicals. Perhaps he even believes the claptrap that comes out of his own mouth. But no matter how you look at it, such comments are terrifying because they suggest Trump thinks the United States should be a theocracy. (If he even knows what that word means).

Or it could be that Trump is so addled, so far gone mentally, that he doesn’t know what the hell he’s saying most of the time. Either way, it certainly tells us that the current president is a clear and present danger to what this country really stands for: Equality for all; tolerance; diversity.

November 3 cannot possibly get here soon enough. And every American has to consider the dangers of allowing Donald Trump to remain in the White House. Our country likely won’t survive another four years of this raving maniac.

Wonder if Donald duck knows much about the nailing to the cross
Trump almost thinks he is a GOD. Well someone with a sane mind should show or tell him just how ridiculous he looks to people that are attached to him through crime.
Best he takes more care for what he preaches.
Never in all my years as a citizen of humanity have I seen or heard such an imbecile spout so much from his throne. (and such a moronic big mouth)
Greed, Lust, Carelessness for his duty, Danger to young girls, money is and shall be his only interest above and beyond any call for duty to the public he serves. Remove the opportunity for the slum lord family and associates from any kind of payout They have been well covered by all the pinching of funds from wherever they can get the hands on, with the help of their corrupt officials they have placed in power. Any one that could allow this reelection of a fool needs to be incarcerated. Without food.
