Donald Trump Russia Vladimir Putin WTF?!

Giuliani Claims Trump Told Putin He’d Blow Up Russian Churches If Russia Invaded Ukraine

It’s no wonder that failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump and his former attorney, Rudy Giuliani, became such close friends and confidants over the years. After all, they both lie almost as often as they breathe.

If you doubt that Giuliani can cook up as many bullshit tall tales as his former client, consider that Rudy just told Newsmax the Donald threatened to bomb Russian churches if President Vladimir Putin dared to invade Ukraine a year and a half ago.

According to Giuliani, right before he left office, Trump was speaking with Putin on the phone and made it clear there would be serious consequences if he made a move on Ukraine:

“He authorized me to say this, that’s why I’m saying it, because I’m his lawyer. So, he has a meeting with Putin and he tells him, they’re talking about Ukraine and he says, ‘Vladimir, you shouldn’t, like, attack Ukraine, cause then I’m gonna — well I never liked those — what are those things you’ve got in Moscow? Those big bubbles. Those big gold bubbles. I never liked those things. So, I’m going to have to blow them up.”

The big gold bubbles Trump allegedly threatened to blow up are the spires of the Kremlin, specifically the gold domes that are the tops of the Cathedral of the Annunciation, a Russian Orthodox church that was built in the 15th century.

Giuliani continued:

“So, Putin says, ‘They’re churches.’ And he said, ‘Oh, Vladimir. Don’t tell me that about churches. Oh, come on. Churches?'”

Does anyone other than the most rabid and fanatical MAGA morons believe a word of that? It’s impossible to accept that Trump ever confronted Putin about anything because Vlad allegedly has dirt on Donnie related to the ex-president’s odd sexual fetishes.

And yet now, with Russia killing thousands of Ukrainian civilians as Putin attempts to impose his will and realize his dream of being a modern-day czar, we’re supposed to accept at face value that Donald Trump said he’d bomb the Kremlin.

At times like this, it’s difficult to tell who is most full of shit: Trump, Giuliani, or their Russian master in the Kremlin.

WATCH Sen. Chris Murphy Shut Down Chuck Todd For Complaining That Biden Called Putin A ‘War Criminal’

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) wasted no time shutting down “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd on Sunday when Todd suggested that President Joe Biden had made a mistake when he called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “war criminal” this week.

Todd asked Murphy:

“President Biden called Putin a war criminal this week. There are a lot of people who agree with that assessment but question whether the president himself should have personalized it. Where are you in this?”

The senator replied:

“I don’t think you can do anything other than call Vladimir Putin a war criminal He is! I mean, what he’s doing right now as we speak, targeting children, maternity wards, schools inside Ukraine clearly crosses a line.”

That led the NBC host to follow up by inquiring:

“We’re going to negotiate with a war criminal? That is what’s difficult here, right? We didn’t negotiate with [former Serbian President Slobodan Milošević].”

Murphy:

“President Biden is showing moral leadership just like President Zelenskyy is showing moral leadership. There are a lot of Republican colleagues now who are using their time to criticize President Biden, vote against Ukraine aid on the floor of the House and the Senate while President Biden is standing up there saying and doing the right thing.

“So I’m proud of President Biden for drawing a moral line against Vladimir Putin. I’d rather have my Republican colleagues supporting him rather than attacking him.”

There can be no doubt that Vladimir Putin is a war criminal. Anyone who orders the bombing of residential areas, uses cluster bombs, and doesn’t care if his troops target women, children, and the elderly is beyond the pale.

When Russia’s illegal and immoral invasion of Ukraine is over with, Putin needs to be dragged of of the Kremlin and placed on trial for crimes against humanity. If he’s found guilty, he should face the same fate as the Nazis convicted at the Nuremberg trials after World War II: To swing from a hangman’s noose.

Experts Say Lindsey Graham Has Put The United States In Tremendous Danger

During World War II, there was a saying that every American learned by heart as part of the effort to make sure the country was victorious: Loose lips sink ships. In other words, be careful what you say, because you never know who might be listening, including the Axis powers.

It’d be nice to think that members of the United States Senate would still abide by such advice, but Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), in an effort to pretend he’s a tough guy for his constituents back home, has been repeatedly going on television and saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin needs to be killed.

On Twitter, Graham wrote:

“The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out. You would be doing your country – and the world – a great service.”

While the vast majority of us would indeed celebrate if Putin suddenly dropped dead, Graham’s very specific calls for someone to bust a cap in the Russian tyrant are dangerous to the United States, according to experts.

In an enlightening article for USA Today, Grace Hauck notes that she spoke with Anthony Arend, co-founder of the Institute for International Law & Politics at Georgetown University, who told her:

“There are so many dangerous aspects to his [Graham’s] comments.

“It sets the possible precedent that others will be able to look at the United States and say, ‘Well, they’re advocating it. Why don’t we simply move to a foreign policy that more broadly incorporates assassinations or targeting regime leaders?'”

Nika Aleksejeva, a researcher with the Digital Forensic Research Lab at the Atlantic Council, says Graham’s ill-conceived remarks also help Russia paint the U.S. as some sort of rogue nation:

“It gives Russia a particular case to point at. These comments are qualified as calls to terror attacks. It opens opportunity for disinformation to be later created based on this particular event.”

If Putin is to be removed from office and punished for his invasion of Ukraine, according to Kathryn Sikkink of Harvard Kennedy School, that needs to be done by the government that replaces him:

“If you’ve had leaders who’ve committed crimes, you want the new government to be able to put those leaders on trial and hold them criminally accountable using due process for crimes they’ve committed. And if you find them guilty, to sentence them and imprison them.”

Lindsey needs to shut the hell up unless he plans to go to the Kremlin himself and take Putin out. Here’s betting he doesn’t have the cojones for that.

Jeanine Pirro Suspected Of Being ‘Drunk Even By Naval Standards’ During Friday Appearance On Fox

Viewers who tuned in to Friday’s edition of “The Five” on Fox News got to see what’s become a regular sight in the network: Co-host Jeanine Pirro acting like she’d had one too many drinks before the broadcast began.

During a discussion of Hunter Biden’s laptop (Yes, conservatives are STILL beating that dead horse), Pirro looked and sounded like she was two sheets to the wind, unable to pronounce the name of former CIA Director Leon Panetta:

Former GOP strategist Rick Wilson had the perfect take on Pirro’s perfornance:

This isn’t the first time Pirro has appeared intoxicated while on air. Slate reported back in March of 2020:

There was something off about Jeanine Pirro’s weekly Fox News show from the beginning. Fox News anchor Jackie Ibañez covered for the Saturday night host for the first 15 minutes of the show. And when Pirro finally appeared, blaming “technical difficulties,” she seemed a bit off. The normally perfectly coiffed Pirro appeared disheveled, and many on social media said she appeared to be slurring her words—and even appeared to be nodding off at one point—leading to widespread speculation she had been drinking before going on air. Several were also quick to note that Pirro had an uncanny similarity to Cecily Strong’s impression of her on Saturday Night Live.

Here’s more of what Twitter users had to say about Pirro’s latest inebriated ranting:

Jen Psaki Slam Dunks Josh Hawley For His Disgusting Remarks About SCOTUS Nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson

Here’s what we know about Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO): He’s an apologist for the Capitol insurrection and attempted coup that took place on January 6, 2021.

Hawley is also trying to make a name for himself because he plans to run for president one day and doesn’t care how many people he has to slag or destroy in order to get his name in the headlines and pretend that he’s a decent, moral person.

The perfect example of Hawley’s ambition and cutthroat tactics can be found in his attempt to smear Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who has been nominated by President Joe Biden to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer.

Hawley fired off a series of tweets accusing Jackson of being soft on people caught with child porn:

When White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked about the disgusting insinuation made by Hawley, it quickly became clear that the administration stands behind Judge Jackson and also that Psaki has some questions of her own for the senator:

“What I would say, though — because there are others in the Senate who have made faulty accusations about Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s record and specifically about her record on child sex crimes, so let me just take the opportunity to clear that up — not that most people have confusion about it.

“But in the vast majority of cases involving child sex crimes, the sentences Judge Jackson imposed were consistent with or above what the government or U.S. probation recommended. For example, there are — there are arguments that have been made out there by Senator Hawley and others that — where he took a snippet of a transcript out of context, when, in fact, Judge Jackson was repeating something a witness said in order to ask a question about their testimony.”

When another reporter asked about Hawley’s tweets, Psaki put the niceties aside and took a verbal tire iron to the Missouri senator, remarking:

“Well, I’m not sure that someone who refused to tell people whether or not he would vote for Roy Moore is an effective and credible messenger on this.”

Remember Roy Moore? He’s the Alabama GOP Senate candidate who was accused of propositioning and having sex with underage girls on several occasions, as the Washington Post reported:

Leigh Corfman says she was 14 years old when an older man approached her outside a courtroom in Etowah County, Ala. She was sitting on a wooden bench with her mother, they both recall, when the man introduced himself as Roy Moore.

Days later, she says, he picked her up around the corner from her house in Gadsden, drove her about 30 minutes to his home in the woods, told her how pretty she was and kissed her. On a second visit, she says, he took off her shirt and pants and removed his clothes. He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear.

Josh Hawley refused to condemn Moore for that behavior, so maybe it’s time the FBI had a long look at the senator’s computer and cell phone, too.
