Chris Cuomo Just WENT OFF On The ‘Morning Joe’ Hosts For Their Adoration Of Trump

If you’ve watched the MSNBC show Morning Joe since Donald Trump declared his candidacy in 2015, then you know the co-hosts, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, are some of the biggest Trump cheerleaders on the face of the planet.

Now we have reports that Brzezinski was seen going into Trump Tower on Tuesday for some sort of meeting and that Scarborough is advising Trump on all kinds of issues. This is a clear conflict of interest on the part of the two MSNBC employees, and they should immediately be terminated as they can no longer hope to be objective.

CNN host Chris Cuomo was more than a bit agitated by news of the connections between Brzezinski, Scarborough, and Trump, so he went on Twitter to give his thoughts on the matter:

Over the past several months, Trump has also been highly critical of the coverage he gets on CNN. Cuomo addressed that, too:

I have to admit that while I believe in the American system of government and the protections the Constitution affords us all, I’m still fearful that a proto-fascist like Donald Trump will attempt to circumvent our laws through fear, intimidation, and lying. This man is a threat to everything we claim to hold dear in the United States.

And to Chris Cuomo, I have this to say: Good for you! Keep speaking out and know that millions of us have your back.

Trump Suggests Loss Of Citizenship, Prison For Flag Burning (TWEETS)

Once again Donald Trump has gone on Twitter and made a complete ass of himself by suggesting anyone who burns an American flag should face severe consequences.

Tuesday morning, the President-elect posted this:

Jeez! Where to start? Let’s try this line of logic, though it will no doubt be completely lost on Trump: Burning an American flag is protected under the First Amendment. This was decided in the 1989 case Texas v. Johnson. The Chief Justice of the United States, William Rehnquistwho was as conservative as they come, wrote in his decision that any statute or law which criminalizes the desecration of an American flag directly violates a person’s First Amendment privileges as outlined by the Bill of Rights, which Don the Con has probably never even read.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Trump spokesperson Jason Miller then went on CNN this morning and doubled down on Trump’s moronic ranting, telling Chris Cuomo:

“I think most Americans would agree with me that flag burning should be illegal. It’s completely despicable.”

I don’t think it should be illegal, Mr. Miller. And this is settled law! We had this debate when George H.W. Bush was pushing for a Constitutional amendment to make flag desecration illegal. That was back when Poppy Bush was trying desperately to prove he was a tough guy instead of a wimp.

Perhaps most of all, this needs to be said: a flag is nothing more than a piece of cloth. I constantly see people wearing variations on the flag as shirts or caps, yet no one says anything about it. What gives the flag intrinsic value are ideals it represents. And to burn or walk on an American flag in no way threatens the precious ideals we hold so dear–freedom, liberty, the right to disagree, the right to assemble, the right to speak out.

The threat is that some among us, including Donald Trump, want to impose their version of patriotism on everyone else. This is how tyranny begins. And it must be fought every single time it rears its head.

Bigoted Bannon Declares, Suppressing Black Voters Is ‘Not A Bad Thing’

The more we learn about chief counselor Steve Bannon, the more apparent it becomes that he is a monumental douchebag and racist asshat.

The New York Times reports this morning that it spoke with Julia Jones, who was co-writer with Bannon on the Reagan documentary In the Face of Evil. Jones says Bannon once commented that it wouldn’t be such a terrible thing to limit the right of African-Americans to vote.

Specifically, Jones recalled Bannon telling her that changing the laws so that only property owners would be allowed to vote might just be something the country should consider:

“I said, ‘That would exclude a lot of African-Americans.’ He said, ‘Maybe that’s not such a bad thing.’ I said, ‘But what about [Bannon’s black executive assistant] Wendy?’ He said, ‘She’s different. She’s family.’”

Bannon, according to Jones, was also fond of talking about the “genetic superiority” of some people, though he didn’t specifically say that whites were superior to other races.

These are just the latest racist comments attributed to Bannon. His ex-wife also said in a sworn deposition that Bannon once told her he didn’t want his daughters attending school with Jews, whom he accused of being “whiny.”

Bannon was also the CEO of the infamous right-wing website Breitbart, which has repeatedly posted articles which traffic in anti-Semitism, sexism, racism, and slurs against President Obama.

Steve Bannon is a cancer and a hero to the alt-right/neo-Nazi/KKK wing of the Republican Party which is enjoying a renaissance under the rise of Donald Trump. The very thought that Bannon will have an office right next door to the Oval Office is not only frightening, it’s an insult to everything the White House and the presidency represent.

Thanks to Bannon and other extremists, we can expect four long years of hatred against all non-white heterosexual Christians. So much for a nation of tolerance and openness.

Paid Liar Kellyanne Conway Blamed The Media Again, And Got BLASTED For It (VIDEO)

Instead of actually placing his extensive business holdings into a blind trust while he’s president, Donald Trump continues to insist that he is above the law and doesn’t have to do what every other president has done. And his designated spokespeople (i.e. paid liars) are getting in on the puffery parade, too.

On Meet the Press today, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said if Don the Con places his assets in a blind trust, that would “deny his adult children” a chance to run the company. That led host Chuck Todd to suggest it was time for Trump to “put the country ahead of himself.”

The always whiny Conway then dared to say:

“You know, Chuck, he has put the country ahead of everything else just [by] running and, indeed, winning and becoming president of the United States. I went and looked back at what all the press clips and conversations on shows like this were eight years ago, it was basically just debating on how cool Barack Obama is.

“So, we should at least — if we’re not going to do that about President-elect Trump — we should at the very least trust him to do the right thing.”

Todd was more than prepared for Conway, and he leveled her out with this:

“I understand every knee-jerk push back is going to be to blame the media. It’s a crutch. I get it and I’m used to it.”

Knowing she’d been caught trying to blame the media for all of Donald Trump’s personal and professional shortcomings and conflicts of interest, all Conway could manage to exclaim in response was:

“That’s not fair!”

Actually, it’s more than fair, Kellyanne; it’s totally true. When in doubt, you blame the media, but that isn’t gonna work much longer because it’s becoming obvious to an overwhelming majority of Americans that Donald Trump is a crook, a con, a liar, and only sought the office of president so he can enrich himself and his spoiled brat children.
