Pennsylvania Mayor Who Posted Image Of Obamas As Apes On Facebook May Be Forced To Resign

Charles Wasko is the Republican mayor of West York, Pennsylvania, and he just loves posting right-wing crap on his Facebook page. But now his online habits could wind up costing him his job.

A couple of months ago, Mayor Wasko decided to share this with everyone on Facebook:

In February, Wasko posted a picture of a chimpanzee on his wall, along with this caption:

“Most think it is Obama’s picture……sorry its Moochelles baby photo.”

Or perhaps you would prefer the one he put up that was aimed at NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and the accompanying text which reads:

“Would the suppressed millionaire, NFL quarterback, who would not stand for the National Anthem please point out which of these guys are black so we can remove the offensive flag. [sic]”

Members of the West York City Council say they will ask for Wasko’s resignation at the next council meeting, which will be held on Monday, October 3. One of them, Shawn Mauck, had this to say:

“I almost don’t know what to say. I kind of want to throw up.”

Shelley Metzler, a GOP council member, was even more upset by what Wasko posted, commenting:

“I would punch him in the mouth if I could get away with it.”

When contacted by a local newspaper, Mayor Wasko defiantly declared the he refuses to be “politically correct, I will say what is on my mind and what I believe in.”

It would be nice if the mayor simply tried being decent and human. To make such a derogatory posting about the President and First Lady of the United States is totally unnecessary. While a person may disagree with someone’s policies or political party, there is no need to use personal attacks in order to make your point. Too many on both sides of the aisle seek to demonize their opponents. It’s one of the reasons the atmosphere in Congress is so poisonous.

We have problems that need to be solved in this country. But we will never accomplish anything with hatred and bile.

MUST SEE VIDEOS: Trump Gives Depositions And Is Asked About Comments On Hispanics

If you want to see something that will make you smile and also possibly cause you to throw up a bit in your mouth, you simply have to watch two videos released as part of depositions in a case involving Donald Trump.

The videos contain Trump’s testimony which he gave in June at a law office in Washington as part of two lawsuits he filed last year when prominent chefs pulled out of plans to open restaurants at his new D.C. hotel, largely because they didn’t want to be associated with a racist and xenophobic asshat like the Orange Menace.

As you watch, keep in mind: This man wants people to vote for him!

The Ladies Of ‘The View’ Just Laid A Verbal BEAT DOWN On Trump’s Campaign Manager (VIDEO)

It’s the issue that will not go away for the Donald Trump campaign: His still unreleased tax returns. And today on The View, campaign manager Kellyanne Conway got one hell of a grilling from the hosts.

Whoopi Goldberg got things started by asking Conway:

“Where are his damn tax returns? What is Donald Trump hiding by not releasing that information?… I want to know since every other president has had to do it, where are the tax returns?”

To that inquiry, Conway trotted out Talking Point #1: The Orange Menace is being audited. But Goldberg was having none of it, exclaiming:

“It’s bull.”

Conway then dialed up Talking Point #2: No one cares what’s in Donald Trump’s tax returns. She then added:

“Everyone in America wants to know what their tax return will look like under a President Trump and a President Clinton.”

But Goldberg wasn’t buying that diversionary tactic, either, directly asking Conway:

“What is he hiding?”

Clearly perturbed that she had not been able to talk her way out of the issue, Conway replied:

“He’s not hiding anything!”

That’s easy enough to prove. All Trump has to do is release the tax returns and let us all see for ourselves exactly what he’s worth, who he owes money to, and how much he really gives to charity. Until he does, millions of us are gonna think he’s not being totally honest. Add that to the fact that he’s mentally disturbed, and you have two disqualifying issues.

Here’s the confrontation on “The View”:

Multiple Post-Debate Polls Show MAJOR GAINS For Hillary Clinton

Monday’s Presidential debate was not only widely seen as an overwhelming victory for Hillary Clinton, but it turns out it also paid dividends when it comes to improving her overall polling numbers, according to just released polls.

The Reuters/Ipsos tracking poll shows that Clinton now leads Trump by a margin of eight points, 44 to 36 percent. If you narrow the poll to likely voters, Clinton still leads, 44 to 38 percent.

Also, an NBC News/SurveyMonkey poll indicates that women in particular were impressed with Clinton’s debate performance and the way she pointed out sexist comments Donald Trump has made over the course of his life. Twenty-seven percent of likely women voters said the debate made them think worse of Trump. And nearly a third, or 30 percent, said their opinion of Clinton had improved. Women are one of the most important demographic groups in the 2016 election, especially women who live in the suburbs of key cities within battleground states such as Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Milwaukee.

Joan Hume, a 71-year-old retiree in Fairfield, Ohio, had this to say of Trump:

“I’m undecided, but I’m leaning more towards Hillary than I ever have before because of the debate. There’s a side of (Trump) that’s scary to me that I’m seeing more of. I thought maybe he would change when he got the nomination, but he’s getting worse.”

Trump fared most poorly with independent women when they were asked if he has the “temperament and personality to serve.” A whopping eighty percent of independent female voters said he does not. In contrast, independent women voters were more evenly split on Clinton’s personality and temperament, with 51 percent saying she met the test for president.

Kathryn Fink said Trump was far too abrasive at the first debate:

“I was a little bit taken aback. I understand that Donald Trump is a passionate person, but in situations like that I believe he needed to pull back and not quite be so combative.”

BREAKING: First Lady Says Of Donald Trump: ‘We Need An Adult In The White House’ (VIDEO)

Campaigning on behalf of Hillary Clinton today in Philadelphia, First Lady Michelle Obama had some strong words about the GOP nominee for the White House.

Mrs. Obama never called Donald Trump by name, but it was very clear who she was referring to:

“When it comes to the qualifications we should demand in a president, to start with, we need someone who will take the job seriously. Someone who will study and prepare so that they understand the issues better than anyone on their team. We need someone who is steady and measured, because when making life-or-death, war-or-peace decisions, a president can’t just pop off or lash out irrationally. No, we need an adult in the White House.”

But the First Lady was far from done with her criticism of Trump, adding:

“The presidency doesn’t change who you are. It reveals who you are.”

“If a candidate is erratic and threatening, if a candidate traffics in prejudice, fears and lies on the campaign trail, if a candidate thinks that not paying taxes makes you smart, or that it’s good business when people lose their homes, if a candidate regularly and flippantly makes cruel and insulting comments about women, about how we look, how we act ― well, sadly, that’s who that candidate really is. That is the kind of president they’ll be.”

And Mrs. Obama also had some strong remarks for Trump’s five-year claims about where President Obama was born:

“[Birther questions were] deliberately designed to undermine his presidency [and] cannot be blamed on others or swept under the rug by an insincere sentence uttered at a press conference. I think Barack has answered these questions with the example he’s set and the dignity he’s shown by going high when they go low.”

For months, there has been speculation that Hillary Clinton’s secret weapon may be President Obama. But after today, it seems clear it’s him and his incredible wife. Bravo, Mrs. Obama!
