12 Of The Most Disgusting And Disturbing Comments Made By 2016 GOP Candidates

In the aftermath of the 2012 Presidential election, the GOP brass sat down and tried to formulate a new strategy for reaching out to groups of voters they had done poorly with: women, African-Americans, Hispanics, the LGBT community. But here we are nearly four years later and the Republicans are once again alienating these same groups on an almost daily basis.

Consider the current clown car of candidates who participated in the first debate. Almost every single one of them mananged to say incredibly insensitive things about issues that directly affect women. Here are 12 of the most disturbing and disgusting comments made so far, and we still have more than a year to go before the election is held!

1. Mike Huckabee

“When an abortion happens, there are two victims. One is the child, the other is that birth mother, who often will go through extraordinary guilt years later when she begins to think through what happened, with the baby, with her.”

Yeah, and she needs an old white guy telling her how she should feel about her decision, Mike. Gimme a break!

2. Scott Walker

“I’ve said for years, medically there’s always a better choice than choosing between the life of an unborn baby and the life of the mother.”

So what is that better choice, Scott? Are you willing to adopt all the children who will be born if your plan to do away with a woman’s right to choose is eliminated? Nah, didn’t think so.

3. Ben Carson

“It brings up a very important issue and that is do those black lives matter. The number-one cause of death for black people is abortion.”

Really? You manage to dismiss the Black Lives Matter movement and also take a shot at the right to choose at the same time. Truly shameless.

4. Rick Santorum

(On same-sex marriage): “It is not any more than the Dred Scott decision was settled law to Abraham Lincoln. This a rogue Supreme Court decision.”

Has this genius even bothered to read the Constitution?

5. Bobby Jindal

“Today’s video of a Planned Parenthood official discussing the systematic harvesting and trafficking of human body parts is shocking and gruesome.”

It would be if there was any foundation to the charge, but it has been repeatedly proven that the videos are selectively edited and do not prove any illegal activity by Planned Parenthood.

6. Marco Rubio

(On why women should not be allowed to remove unwanted embryos from their uterus): “It cannot turn into an animal. It can’t turn into a donkey. Well, if they can’t say it will be human life, what does it become, then?

Perhaps not, Senator, but one thing is certain: You have become a horse’s ass.

7. Carly Fiorina

(On the HPV vaccine and a woman who did not want her daughter to get the vaccine):  And she got bullied. She got bullied by a school nurse saying: ‘Do you know what your daughter is doing?’”

Maybe because the nurse knows the risk being taken if the girl does not get the vaccine? Or would you rather the girl develop cancer or become sterile, Carly?

8. Jeb Bush

“I’m not sure we need a half a billion dollars for women’s health issues.”

We also don’t need another Bush in the White House.

9. Ted Cruz

(On the Planned Parenthood videos and the media): “The mainstream media wants to do everything they can to hide these videos from the American people. And the reason is virtually every reporter, virtually every editor, virtually every person who makes decisions in the mainstream media is passionately pro-abortion.”

No, Teddy Boy, we just think women should be allowed to make their own decisions without you interfering.

10. Donald Trump

Called Planned Parenthood “an abortion factory.”

Before he decided to become a Republican for his own benefit, Trump was pro-choice. He will say anything at anytime to anyone if it will move him upward in the polls.

11. Rand Paul

“We’ve doubled the amount of money we put into women’s health care through government, and so it’s just an absurd argument to say we need Planned Parenthood. It’s only about abortion.”

I think Rand Paul must be getting his figures from someplace outside of this solar system. 97 percent of what Planned Parenthood does has nothing to do with abortion.

12. Chris Christie

“I’m a Catholic, but I’ve used birth control, and not just the rhythm method.”

Way too much information, Chris! I do not need that image in my head! Argh! My eyes! My eyes!
